Elle's pov 🤩
Watch your back, what does that mean? Ever since she said that I have been thinking about it.
"Baby stop worrying she ain't going to hurt you" Dele caressed my cheek and lent in for a peck on the lips I accepted and kissed him back.
"Why would she say it then del?" I pulled a blanket over my lap and thought about it
"She's just trying to scare you, she won't touch you if I'm here" he made me feel safe and brought a childish grin across my face.
"What happens when your not here?" I still worried about it
"Lock the doors, get lucy or Katie to come over" he suggested
"yeah I guess" I tried to push it out of my mind but it kept on popping up. "Can you go at get the post out of the locker in the lobby?" I asked him
"Anything for you" he got to his feet and did as he was told. He was the best thing in the world.
Deles pov 💛
As I walked into the lobby I picked up the post and walked over to the reception desk.
"Good morning Dele" Rodger the desk manager spoke
"How are you Rodger?" I started a conversation and rested my hand on the desk
"Very good, but sit there is someone waiting for you in the waiting room" he pointed over and I saw ruby Mae sat there in a tight dress she looked fatter than I remembered.
"Tell her to leave" I demanded anger filled my body
"She has something important to say mr" he convinced me to talk to her. I barged over to where she was sat!
"What do you want ruby!" I spat at her wanting to know why she was here, she stood up and looked into my eyes.
"Del I'm pregnant" I looked down at her stomach and it was round
"That can't be possible ruby" I told her
"It can be, we had sex the night before we split up" she enlightened me
"Yes we did but that was 6 months ago and I used protection" I notified her something made me believe this wasn't true
"Dele I'm 6 months pregnant, please believe me" she touched my arm and I stepped away.
"I want a doctors appointment to approve" I asked her and stepped further away from her.
"um okay shall we go and tell your precious girlfriend upstairs" she smiled at me and winked
"you can tell her and I don't believe you but we can check" I was furious at her, we walked up to the apartment and opened the door where Elle was stood there beautiful as ever.
"Dele why have you brought her up here?" She questioned me, fear washed over her face.
"She's claiming she's pregnant baby with my child" I informed her and stood next to her. Ruby stood in the door way stroking her bump. Me and elle stared at her with anger in our eyes.
"This can't be true Dele" she whispered into my ear, I nodded
"I would like a doctors appointment ASAP" I demanded and grabbed on to Elle's hand.
"You can phone up then" she spoke and came closer to us. Elle's eyes locked onto her belly, there was confusion in her eyes
"Fine then" I stepped away from both of them and walked into a different room so I could talk in private.
"Hello can I book an ultrasound appointment please" I politely requested
"Yes can I have a name" the lady through the phone asked
"alli" I told her
"there is an appointment free tomorrow at 2pm is that okay with you" she let me know and I accepted "if you want to cancel the appointment please let us know 30 minutes before" she said before I hung up.
Elle's pov 🤩
dele had been in that room for what felt like forever, suddenly ruby started coming up closer to me and grabbed my wrist like she did before. She squeezed so tight making me let out a slight noise
"If you scream I'll hit you" she stroked my face and slapped me. I tried stepping away from her. Deles footsteps started getting closer and she stepped further away to where she was originally standing.
He stood back next to me and stared at me cheek where she slapped me "what happened babe" he quietly spoke.
"she hit me Dele" I showed him my wrist and anger boiled inside of him.
"I KNEW YOU WEREN'T PREGNANT RUBY, YOU JUST DID THIS TO HURT HER." He shouted at the top of his voice. He touched her stomach and pulled the fake baby belly out
I looked at her and grinned "not being funny ruby it was easy to tell, work on your acting skills" I laughed and walked over to the sofa. Dele still stood there shouting at her.
Tears built up in her eyes. She ran out of the apartment. He slammed the door behind her and came over to me
"I'm so sorry Elle" he looked into my eyes and brushed the top of my head with his hands
"It's okay del, I knew it wasn't true" I cuddled into me and he pulled at my hands, making the bruises visible.
"This should never of happened, I shouldn't have brought her up here. This could have hurt our baby" he apologised to me and looked deeply into my eyes
"Dele stop, our little one is fine. It's not your fault. Stop blaming yourself. And give me a kiss" He pecked my lips and it started getting heated. He slipped his tongue in and I sat across his lap. His hands touched my body and rubbed my belly where our baby was. I stopped kissing him "I love you so much Dele" I let him know
"I love you to infinity" he said it back making me feel happy through my whole entire body.
I guess infinity was our thing.
