My eyes opened early this morning to elle jumping up and down in her pjs. She looked so adorable. Her face was lit up with happiness. I stretched my body and rubbed my eyes before laughing at her.
"we get to find out the gender todayyyy" she screamed and rubbed her belly.
"baby, your cute" I smiled at leaned my self up against the pillows. I wasn't fully awake, but she just made me want to be awake with her. She rushed down stairs and brought some dresses out to show me.
"which one shall I wear?" She asked. I wasn't very good at picking girls clothes but I knew she would look great in whatever she wore.
I studied the dresses;there was a blue one with lace detail, a red one that had some glitter on it, a clean and pristine white simple dress and a light pink tight dress.
"try that pink one on" I told her. She took her pjs off leaving her in pants and a sports bra. The bump was growing so fast. "but before let me take a photo of the bump, I want to see how fast it grows" I smiled at her and whipped out my phone. I captured the photo and left it in my camera roll. I didn't upload anything to my iCloud anymore because so many people hack it.
She then slipped into the dress, It wasn't too tight but clinged at the right places. Especially around her belly which made it look clear we where having a baby.
"that's perfect elle, you look beautiful" I stared at her in awe. She was just perfection. She looked at herself in the mirror. She smiled at herself
"Yeha this looks okay" she winked at me
"okay you look stunning" I held her and and pulled her closer to me so I could kiss her cheek. I didn't kiss her lips because I just woke up.
"Come on lazy bones, we have to get ready for the party" she giggled.
I wore some black jeans, a white button up shirt. Elle picked this outfit out the other day. She chose it because it made me look 'smart'. When I was changed I went down stairs to see her brushing her hair and putting makeup on.
"you don't need makeup silly" I smacked her bum and walked past into the kitchen.
"I do there are so many photos going to be taken" she took a lipstick or something and swiped it onto her lips. It was a nude pink which matched her dress.
"what time are we leaving here?" I asked.
"my friend Catherine is picking us up in 10 minutes" she grabbed a bag and chucked some stuff in
"where are we going?" I questioned
"I don't know they haven't said anything" she replied and lifted her strappy heels and buckled them on her feet.
I slipped my feet into my shoes and we left the apartment, we probably should move into my house but hers was nearer the training ground. She put a coat over the top of her dress to hide the baby bump.
Her friend picked us up from the road and Elle got in the front. I sat in the back so she could speak to Catherine. My phone buzzed and it was Eric

When we got closer to wherever we where going Catherine handed us blindfolds to put on. Then we got out of the car, I held onto Elle's hand tightly in case she tripped. We where being led forward.
"sorry for the blindfolds we just wanted to make it more exciting. Enjoy your party and we are so excited to meet your little one" Harry said. We pulled our blindfolds off to see a hundreds of our friends.
There was coloured sweets, pink and blue balloons. Guess the gender board. Pink and blue flowers. A swimming pool filled with pink and blue soap.
I was astonished of what an amazing job harry and Kate did. I was so fucking lucky to have them as friends. They are like family to me. I looked over to elle to see tears in her eyes. She was so amazed.
"this is crazy, I can't believe you did this!" She started crying. Harry and Kate walked over and gave her a hug.
"anything for our favourite part of the family" they laughed. Someone started music and we all started talking to everyone.
Me and Eric headed over to the 'guess the gender' board. Most people think it's going to be a boy.
"what do you think it'll be bro" I queried my best friend
"man I think it's going to be a boy" he chuckled
"see I don't, I think we are having a little girl" I scratched the back of my head.
"most boys in the team have girls so maybe you've got a boy?" he responded
"Yeah maybe" I glanced at the board.
"what would you call a little boy?" He babbled
"I don't know we haven't really though of many names yet, but I've been thinking about the name zaid" I gushed
"that's unique I think it's cool" he added
Some of the boys and me joked around for quite a while, and Elle was introducing herself to some of the wives. She looked in her element and she was enjoying it.
Harry and Kate called us out to the front so everyone could see us. Her dress revealed the baby and everyone loved it.
"we love you both very much, we took a look at the board and the majority of all of us here think it's a boy. But we will be happy either way" Kate chuckled and stood with Harry's arm around her
"Eric over here wants to make a speech before you reveal the gender" harry teaser Eric
Eric rushed over from the back of the crowd making him visible to everyone. Lucy followed behind.
"Del I haven't known you for very long but what I do know is that your my best friend. In the changing rooms we always joke about having kids and bringing them into the pitch with us before a game. Now you can, with the girl of your dreams. Elle you must be crazy putting up with him" he stuttered and gave a giggle "I hope you with give me the honour of being the godfather, and I promise you I will do a good job. When you were with ruby dele we never thought of this happening, in fact me and the boys didn't even like you together. You have changed into a different person when your with Elle and it's amazing. You pair are perfect for each other and will be great parents" he stepped back from the crowd and everyone cheered and clapped.
"see Eric, we love you" me and elle ran over to him and hugged him. He pushed us away
"now hurry the fuck up and tell us if it's going to be a boy or a girl" he huffed with a laugh.
We scurried back, harry handed us both these canons.
"you twist like this to set it off" he showed us in actions "and move further apart" he spread us out. Then ran back to the rest
"10.....9.....8.....7.....6......5......4....3......2....1....0" they all shouted and on the count of zero we set them off.
Pink glitter set into the air, they all shrieked and applauded. Elle cried and I pulled her in for a hug. "I've never been happier with my two girls" I whispered to her. She smiled and everyone came in for a group hug
