Part 16

time skip~1 month

Elle's pov🤩

i was nearly at 4 months pregnant now and I felt as if I was getting the worst of the sickness over, my belly had grew day after day which kept dele excited. Today it was his 3rd game of the league and we got there at 1pm for them to train as usual.

I wanted to keep the belly covered so I wore a baggy jumper which was good because it was cold weather, typical English weather really. I had my kit next to me and sat with Poch until the game started.

"know the gender yet" he quietly said not wanting anyone around to hear

"no but in 2 days we will find out" I informed him but still being as quiet as we could

"deles excites then" he asked

"well if you can say that's excited" I pointed over to Dele jumping up and down around Eric and son. We both laughed

"That's more like ecstatic" he giggled and walked over to the boys giving them a talk about the game, it was against Fulham so we weren't really that nervous. We knew we had beat them before so weren't worried.

"hiya boo" Katie said as other girls came and sat in the box with us, Kate handed me ivy for what she called practice. She was almost 1 year now and was the cutest thing in the world.

Before the match started Dele, Son, Eric and Harry walked over. Harry kissed ivy and his wife.

"Hey baby" Eric said to Lucy and gave her a hug

"hey" Dele answered and we all laughed, I sat there and put on a fake moodiness from what he said "I'm joking, you know you two are the most important" he whispered into my ear and touched the belly without anyone noticing. I kissed his lips and smiled.

"make us proud" I said back quietly and looked down at our baby

"always" he said and ran back over to the pitch.

"aw he will make a great dad" Lucy and Frankie said it unison. They laughed

"yeah he will" I stared at him wondering how he was so amazing. Ivy was jumping up and down on my legs when a gunshot went off somewhere in the stands. Everyone immediately started screaming and tried to get out of the stadium. They ran into the pitch and mobbed everyone

"Come on girls we need to leave" I shouted trying to reach for them but got pushed away by fans. I clinged onto ivy and tried to make my way out

Her crying made me cry, I looked around for anyone. Dele, harry, Eric or just anyone I knew. I ran with ivy in my arms to find the exit. Another gun shot went off a horrific scream, Ivy's wails became louder. People pushed and pushed until I was on the ground with ivy

I quickly pushed myself back into my feet and tucked ivy under my jumper keeping her more safe. I locked site onto Eric above the crowd. I shouted his name but he didn't see. He was with Lucy and rushed to the exit.

I tried getting to them but it was no use. I screamed for dele but I knew that he wouldn't hear. I scrambled my way to the exit but there was a huge riot. I squeezed ivy letting her know she was okay.

I turned around to see people still stuck in the stands, gun shots started getting more frequent. I stood there and prayed that we would all get out safely. As the crowd to the exit started moving I waited in the middle of fans. They didn't recognise me but heard the baby crying. They looked down in sadness and tried getting me closer to the door. I thanked them and moved onwards. I peered ahead of people to see Poch and Eric standing there pushing. They where making people move as quick as possible.

As more people got out the less gunshots happened. All I wanted was Dele, ivy still crying I held her up and told her it would be okay. I could almost smell the fresh air from outside the arena.

I made it out, and searched for dele or harry. I couldn't see them anywhere. Many ambulances where on the scene and I looked to see if any of them where in them but they luckily weren't.

Then someone touched my shoulder and it was harry and Kate. They hugged me immediately

"Thank you elle so much, for keeping her safe and alive" I gave ivy back and kissed her forehead

"she was the main priority in this, she would have always have been safe" I gave them a smile "have you seen Dele anywhere?" I asked them they shook there heads.

"Dele" I shouted and looked for him. I saw him from across the car park. I ran to him and jumped into his arms.

"thank god your okay elle, I thought you where gone" tears fell from his eyes and I wiped them away "I couldn't imagine life without you" he kissed my lips and tears fell from my eyes

"Del I love you so much, I couldn't find you or anyone and thought I would had to raise this baby on my own" tears streamed down my face

"I will never leave you both ever again" he cuddled me making me feel more safe. As I hugged him tighter he winced.

"Dele what have you done?" I asked him in worry, I looked at the back of his arm to see blood stained his shirt. "What happened!"

"someone stabbed me with a pen knife and removed it again" he replied

"Then why are we stood here go to an ambulance" I shouted at him not wanting to loose him

"I needed to find your first" he said i pulled him over to the ambulance where the cleaned it up and bandaged it. It wasn't infected so he was luckily going to be okay.

"Is everyone else okay del?" I asked as he sat on the bed of the ambulance

"yes they have all gone home" he spoke

"can we go home I asked?" He nodded and when he finished with his arm, I drove us home.

"is the baby okay elle?" He asked me

"yes I felt him kick earlier when we found you" I felt so lucky to have him safe

"good" as we got home, it was around 10pm. I was still in shock from what happened, I was shaking all over the place.

"Your safe with me Bebe" Dele said and that wa the last thing I heard before falling asleep in his arms, my dreams where awful that night. Dele died and I couldn't bare the thought of if it did happen.
