McDonalds

Lauren's P.O.V.

After laser tag, we went to McDonalds. Thank god I brought some money! Libby didn't bring any money cause I forgot to tell her we might me eating out, so Charlie payed for her. Aww!

I could pay for myself, but Leondre insisted he had to pay for me. Aww! He's so sweet!

We sat in a booth, me and Charlie on one side, and Libby and Leondre on the other. I was facing Libby. We were all just talking normally. Me and Charlie decided to share our food, which ended up to be a bad idea because he practically ate all of it. I was getting quite annoyed because someone kept on kicking me under the table. When I asked who it was, everyone denied it. Ugh!

I felt another kick under the table. When I looked up, I saw Libby staring at me. What? I mouthed at her. She nodded her head towards the bathroom. I nodded understandingly.

'I'm going to the bathroom,' I announced. 'Libby, come!'

Libby nodded. 'Move Charlie,' I said.

'Say the magic word,' Charlie teased.

'Charlie, move out of her way,' Libby said. Charlie moved straight away. Me and Leondre started laughing. He's definitely in love!

Libby's P.O.V.

As soon as I got into the bathroom, I began having that much needed talk with Lauren.

'Lauren!' I said. 'I really like Charlie. I know I only met him yesterday and all, but he's so nice, sweet, funny, kind-'

'Calm down Lib,' she said. 'Don't worry. He obviously likes you to, and it's only a matter before he's going to ask you out.'

'You think so?' I asked. 'But he lives in Bristol... and - and... do long distance relationships work? Wait... I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. He probably doesn't even like me like that. Imagine if we did go out though... what if... what if we broke up though? Would we still be friends or-'

'Lib,' Lauren said seriously. 'Everything will pan out perfectly. Just trust Charlie. You just act cool. Let him make the first move. He likes you too, that much is obvious. Just act normal, don't panic and just be yourself.'

Be myself. Okay, I think I can do that.

Charlie's P.O.V.

As soon as the girls went to the bathroom, I started pouring out everything to Leo.

'Leo,' I said. 'I dunno what to do. I really like Libby. She's perfect. I don't know if she likes me though. She's so nice, funny, beautiful and I just really like her, even though I've only met her yesterday. I've never felt like this before, and I'm only fifteen. Am I too young to feel like this, or-'

'Charlie,' Leo laughed. 'Shut up for a minute. It's so obvious that she likes you so calm yourself. If you feel this strongly about a girl that you haven't even known for twenty four hours, I say go for it. She could be your princess, don't waste your chance. I say ask her to be yours before you have to go back to England.'

'Oh yeah!' Charlie said. 'I live in England. How would that work?'

'Long distance relationships work,' Leo said. 'And when you visit me, you can see her. Just wing it, lad. Just ask her, not today, maybe tomorrow?'

'Okay,' I grinned.

'And just relax,' Leo said. 'Don't make a fool of yourself. Just be yourself, that's why Libby likes you, because you are you.'

Very cheesy, but that talk has made me feel better.

I'm definitely going to do it. I'm going to ask Libby out.

But one thought lingered at the back of my mind.
