Skyping Libby

Charlie's P.O.V.

While Leo and Victoria were asking Matilda about her camp, me and Lauren stayed in Leo's room and decided to skype Libby. I already kind of miss her and I've only been away from her for a few hours. I hope everything is okay with her and her mum. It took a few minutes for her to pick up, and when she did, a smile appeared on her face. As I said, I have that affect on people.

'Hi Charlie,' Libby grinned. 'Hi Lauren.' Me and Lauren both greeted Libby, and Lauren was quick to ask how Libby's mum was.

'So my mum has a heart condition,' Libby explained. 'She has to take this medication every day to keep it under control, but recently she has forgotten to take it. She passed out, but she's getting better in the hospital, because she's taking her medication again.'

'I told you there was nothing to worry about!' Lauren explained. Libby laughed. 'Where's Leo?' she asked. 'He's downstairs,' I said. 'His sister just got back from this summer camp thingy.'

Libby just nodded her head slowly, and then suddenly I could feel myself getting kicked off the bed, and that was followed by Lauren's uncontrollable laughter. I could hear Libby laugh too. God! This is embarrassing.

I decided to get Lauren back, so I pushed Lauren off the bed, and I could hear her groaning on the ground, but then I remembered her arm. Shit!

I was quick to be down by Lauren's side. 'Shit, Lauren! I am so sorry. I totally forgot about your arm,' I quickly said. Lauren just chuckled.

'It's definitely broken now anyway,' she muttered. 'Now we can get matching casts!' I shook my head slightly and chuckled. Only Lauren!

Leo's P.O.V.

Mum was still talking to Matilda about her camp, so I decided to watch television and see if anything good was on... Nope. Everything that was on was really boring! It's a good thing Lauren came down and sat beside me, but she took the remote off me and put on Home and Away. I groaned. She only watches that programme because of the Baxters that are on it.

'Lemme guess,' I said. 'The Baxters are on this episode.'

'They're called the Braxtons,' Lauren said in a duh voice. 'And this episode is actually really good. Look,' Lauren pointed towards the screen. 'That's Heat with his son Harley, and he's at his other son Rocco's grave.'

I nodded even though I didn't actually care. 'How's your arm?' I asked her. She groaned. 'It's actually really sore now, because Charlie pushed me off the bed.'

I rolled my eyes. Charlie is as stupid as a bloody sloth! Uggh! I have to stop thinking about sloths! 'Do you want to go to a hospital, because there is one only a bit away.'

Lauren shrugged. 'Sure, why not? But we are walking,' she said. I groaned. 'Why would we walk? I can just ask mum to drive you.'

'I want to walk,' Lauren said. 'So we are walking. VICTORIA, ME AND LEO ARE GOING FOR A WALK,' Lauren yelled into the kitchen. 'Okay!' Mum yelled back.

Then I thought of something. The hospital will take around forty minutes to walk to. A bit of alone time with Lauren wouldn't hurt.

Not at all!

Lauren's P.O.V.

Since my arm seems to only be worsening, (perhaps because Charlie the stupid sloth decided to kick me off the bed) I decided that a trip to the hospital wouldn't hurt. I kind of feel like talking to Leo now anyways. I want a proper alone conversation with him. Don't ask me why, but I just feel in a Leo mood.

Charlie is upstairs being all lovey dovey with-

Oh wait, he's not. He's actually running down the stairs like a weirdo, nearly tripping at the end of the stairs. That child!

'Where are you two going?' he asked, wiggling his eyebrows at Leo. What the hell? 'To the hospital,' I said. 'Problem?'

Charlie laughed and shook his head. 'Are they finally putting Leo down?' he asked. Leo pretended to be upset, but failed. 'Aaaaaand, we're walking,' I said. Charlie nodded and grinned. 'I'm coming too,' he said. 'Just lemme get my phone.' I rolled my eyes. 'So you can text lover girl?' I teased. Charlie just responded with a 'maaaaaaybe'.

I kind of felt disappointed, because I wanted some alone time with Leo for some reason. I kind of feel like having a one-on-one conversation with him...

Out of the corner of my eye, I think I saw that Leo was mad too.

Why is he mad?
