Matty's P.O.V.

I give up!

After 47 text messages, 29 unanswered called, 23 ignored snaps, 21 ignored Facebook messages, 27 useless dm's, I think it's safe to say that Charlie is ignoring me. I bet he is laughing with that Lauren girl right now. I know he's only gone for the week,but he is ignoring me and I have to tell him how I feel about him.

His laugh, looks, personality - just everything about him is perfect. His voice is like an angel's, and so is the way he looks. But why is he ignoring me? Why would he do that? Is it because-

My phone began buzzing in my pocket. I picked it up. Someone was calling me, and when I looked at the caller ID, who was it, but Charlie Lenehan!

Charlie's P.O.V.

I decided to call Matty. She had been trying to contact me all week, but each time she did it wasn't a good time. I was either doing something with Leo, Lauren, Libby or going to a school. I hope she understands that I'm really busy.

'Hello,' I said into the phone.

'What do you want?'

'To... um, talk?' I said, but it sounded more as a question than a statement.

'I've been trying to talk all week, but no! Someone seems to be too cool to talk to plain old me. Wanna explain that to me?' Matty fumed.

'Look, Matty. I-' I was cut off.

'You what, Charlie?' Matty yelled. 'Want to explain. Aww! Are you too busy with work? Is that it Charlie? Well sorry if I'm bothering you from your-'

'Matty!' I cut her short. Why was she so mad? 'Are you going to let me explain or just have a go at me? Cause if you're only going to have a go at me I will just hang up right now.'

'Look, I'm sorry,' she said. 'I just needed to tell you something really important, and I couldn't tell you since you've been ignoring me.'

'I haven't been ignoring you,' I protested. 'I've just been busy with...'

'Been busy with what?' Matty snapped. I got a text on my phone.

'Just one second,' I said to Matty. I could hear her having a rant on the phone, but I just looked at the text I got.

From Lauren:Come to Lib's house asap. She needs you x

I put the phone back up to my ear. 'Have to go, Matty,' I said.

'What?' she sounded a bit flustered. 'Why?'

'Something's wrong with Libby,' I said quickly, already standing up, about to walk out the door. 'What? Who's Libby?' Matty sounded unsure.

'My girlfriend,' I said without thinking. 'Your... girlfriend?' I could hear Matty's voice crack on the end of the line. 'Well, bye.' Matty hung up.

What was that about?

Matty's P.O.V.

'What?' I frowned to myself. Libby? I've never heard of her before. 'Who's Libby?'

'My girlfriend,' Charlie said. His... girlfriend? He has a girlfriend...

'Your... girlfriend?' I asked, making sure I had heard him correctly, hoping I hadn't. I didn't want to wait for his reply. I wanted to have some hope that I had misheard him. 'Well, bye,' I said quickly, and hung up.

I stared at the ceiling of my room for around an hour, before I just walked down the street, out of the town and into the countryside until I couldn't walk any further.
