We stood kissing for god knows how long. Her mouth willingly opening to mine. All I wanted to do was take her home and make love to her all evening. My hands travelled down to her ass and pulled her into my erection. A gasp escaped her mouth. When she eventually broke away she was looking up at me through her lashes. There was no shy smile just a carnal need that mirrored mine.

Fuck it just ask. Just ask her about the boyfriend and then take her home and have her.

She looked at me waiting for me to say something. Shit what should I say? That was amazing because it was. It was the most incredible charged kiss I'd ever had. But she was the first to break the silence.

"Can we do that again?" And a cheeky smile formed on her face.

Dam it all I wanted to do was drag her out of the park and hail the first black cab I could find. Take her back to the apartment and have her on every surface possible. But where would that lead us? A one night stand and an awkward morning to follow. I didn't know how to do this, hell I'd never even had a girlfriend. All I did was hook ups, fuck em and leave em. Nothing emotional, nothing demanding. We both got what we wanted and then I'd leave theirs never staying the night. She had been the first girl I'd spent the night with and we hadn't so much as even touched.

She took my hands in hers and looked up at me.

"Dom, I don't want to kill the moment and trust me I am really enjoying this. But I ... well I think we need to talk about stuff. I know it's boring but I ..." Her voice trailed off. She was right, we were avoiding the elephant in the room.

"No you're right. Shall we grab some lunch somewhere?"

"Sounds good." And with that I took her hand in mine not knowing if she would pull away but she didn't to my relief. We walked in silence to the exit of the park. I knew a good Japanese Sushi place nearby that was usually quiet even on a Saturday and led her there.

After ordering a selection of dishes and a couple of beers we sat assessing one another.

She stared anxiously at her hands before lifting her head to look at me.

"I will understand if you feel you can't go through with my fathers wishes. It's a huge ask and no doubt you have a girlfriend or someone special you are committed to. I never thought you would even be interested in me so if all that happens between us is the last twenty-four hours, then I feel a lucky girl." Her words shocked me. Why did she think so little of herself? Perhaps she had someone special and couldn't go through with it?

"There's no girlfriend and no one special. And I never do anything I don't want to do. I'm stubborn like that. " I answered. She said nothing just nodded.

"But what about your boyfriend? Have you told him about the Will." She looked stunned.

"Boyfriend?" Did I confess to seeing the dress?

"The dress and heels in your bag. Plus someone as beautiful as you must have plenty of suitors." She looked offended.

"The dress was for in case you took me out for dinner. And I'm certainly not easy if that's what you're suggesting." She crossed her arms and looked upset. She was hoping I'd take her out? Shit, I'd offended her.

"Sorry I think you are anything but that. What I meant was I just can't believe you don't already have someone, that's all." She visibly relaxed.

"Daddy was a wonderful man but he was also very protective. The only men I ever had dinner with were his business associates or family. There was someone when I was younger but Daddy put an end to that fairly quickly. It was for the best really. As for dates, I think he would have kept me under lock and key until I was thirty." She smiled but her voice gave away some resentment.

"So you've never had a boyfriend?" I was shocked.

"Never, and you, you must have loads of girlfriends?" Her reply made me laugh.

"No none, are you saying you think I'm easy then." And she giggled.

"Sorry, no. Oh god, I just say all the wrong things." And she rolled her eyes playfully.

"So we've both never been in love or dated. Well, we're a right pair aren't we." And we laughed.

"Daddy was right at least from my end when he thought we would like each other." I didn't know what to say. This was the first time she was openly admitting how she felt about me.

"So you like me then?" I flirted. She smiled shyly and played with the last few grains of rice on her plate.

"Yeah, I do Dom." Whoa. Her words sent my body into a frenzy.

"Do you think you could marry me?" I half-joked and she nodded. What? Jesus did she really just nod.

She laughed at me.

"Dom you are a great catch. You are clever, kind, thoughtful, and gentle. Not to mention you are incredibly handsome and sexy. What woman wouldn't want that in a husband? Plus you got on with my father which is so important." Her face saddened and I was sure I saw her wipe away a tear. Her revelation threw me. She was far too good for me.

Fine, I had half a brain and I knew the ladies liked my looks and body but was I kind? Could I be gentle? I guess so far I had been with her. I'd only ever been rough with the girls I saw. They seemed to want it that way. And having soft gentle sex just didn't seem appropriate for the lack of emotions involved in our encounters. But I couldn't and didn't want to be like that with her. She was delicate and petite and a real lady. She deserved to be worshiped.

"You're not bad yourself," I replied and she smiled. Come on Dom you can do better than that. Nows your time to win her. I straightened up and cleared my throat which made her look at me curiously. Ok here goes.

"No seriously. You are quite possibly the most beautiful and amazing woman I've ever met. How you haven't already been snatched up I have no idea." She gasped throwing her hand to cover her mouth.

"You don't see it, do you? You're sexy, clever, sweet, and beautiful. And if I had you as my wife, I'd be the luckiest guy alive." There I said it. Fuck it, if nothing came from this conversation at least she would know how amazing I thought she was. She said nothing, only left her side of the table, and joined me on mine. Her hand cupped my chin and she stroked my cheek with her thumb. It was such a tender move and it totally threw me. Her eyes met mine, deep chocolate brown on deep-sea blue.

"Marry me?" she said.
