The next morning arrived slowly for David. He couldn't find himself able to sleep the previous night. He kept on thinking about that figure in the woods. Every part of David knew it was Daniel.
He was up bright and early the next morning, 7:28, to be exact. Nobody is was up yet, but he had left a note on Gwen's desk that he was heading out.
David hadn't even been walking around the perimeter of the camp for 5 minutes when he was suddenly pinned against a tree with a knife to his neck.
"Hi Davey~" The blonde male grinned. "Did you miss me?" David was surprisingly calm. He didn't think there were any campers around.
"What do you want, Daniel?" David sounded almost bored. He knew that if he moved Daniel wouldn't hesitate to kill him.
'But what would be so bad about that?' David thought to himself as he waited impatiently for an answer.
'Surely at this point the only person that would be affected is Ray.' David squinted his eyes at the thought. And Daniel.
"You, of course!" Daniel teased removing the knife from Davids neck and replacing it with his own hand.
David knew that's not what he wanted. 'Or was it?' He jumped a little bit when he felt a cold bit of medal get pressed against his temple.
"I want answers, Davey. And I want them now." Daniel slowly ran the knife down his face, applying light pressure.
"That depends on what you want to know." David looked Daniel directly in the eye. The barricade He had up wasn't going to fall that easy.
"Cut the shit, David. I'm getting the information out of you one way or another." Daniel growled as David chuckled.
Daniel brought the knife back up to David's temple and repeated the process. This time though, he put way more pressure as he dragged the blade down David's face, making a deep gash that immediately started to bleed.
David felt a rush of pain, resisting the urge to fight back.
"Tell me where he lives." Is all Daniel had to say for David to snap. David's eyes widened and he suddenly tackled the man in front of him.
Daniel was caught off guard and dropped the knife, and David, then felt the painful embrace of the ground below him.
David gripped Daniels neck as his blood dropped on Right on Daniels cheek.
"Why are you after him?!" David yelled by accident and lifted Daniels torso off the ground.
"David please, you're getting your blood on me." Daniel sighed as David just dropped his upper body.
"Who gave you his file?!" David yelled.
He was pissed.
And he didn't realize how close he was to camp until he heard the small gasps behind him from the campers. And the police sirens in the distance.
And David's face hurt like a bitch and he was just beginning to really feel it.
"Smile Davey~" Daniel laughed. "The campers are behind you~"
The campers were way to shocked to say anything. They had never heard David yell before.
And to every single person who hasn't heard him yell before-
It was absolutely horrifying.
