David shouldn't have been working.
His boss knew that, but he found it amusing when David took stuff into his own hands.David didn't really... work like the other Hitmen. He did his own thing but whatever got the job done got it done.
David abandoned the Camp car near the end of the forest where it met the small town so it wouldn't attract attention. He put on black gloves and flipped his hood up, getting out of the car.
He figured he'd get this done quickly and get back to the Camp soon. David wasn't going to do anything fancy for time purposes, just get the deed done and dip.
Nobody noticed David as he steeped low in the alley ways, looking for the address in the file. He sighed as he came across the door in the alley.
David didn't hesitate to try the front door. And of course, in typical movie fashion, it was unlocked. He opened the door quietly without it making a creaking noise just enough for him to slip in.
He stayed low even though every light in the house was shut off. David cautiously looked around, checking the area for any body other than the guy he was looking for.
David turned the corner into a dark, short hallway. The hallway only had 2 doors, one on the left and one on the right.
He pressed his ear against the one on the right first, checking for any noise of any sort. David didn't hear anything and assumed that was the bedroom, but he checked the other door just to make sure.
A loud fan from the door on the left was quietly echoing from the door, so he assumed that was the bathroom.
David took a deep breath and slowly took out a pocket knife. Carefully and quietly, he opened the door. To his relief, Nile was sleeping. He had a resting bitch face on and David observed it for a second just to confirm it was indeed him.
He slowly pressed the blade of the knife to the left side of his neck and dragged it to the other side and watched emotionlessly as blood oozed from the cut for a moment.
David shook his head and closed the pocket knife, shoving it into his pocket, simply leaving, the cut wound on Nile's neck the only evidence that someone was ever there.
