The first week of college was resulting a little but more stressful than Betty anticipated. She moved away from her hometown in riverdale and to New York so she could attend NYU. Upon moving to new york she had an apartment in the dorms, her roommate, Veronica lodge was the complete opposite of her but they seemed to be getting on well and their friendship was growing more and more everyday. Betty was taking a journalism class, and so far she was enjoying it but most of all she enjoyed being in a new place, without her mother's crippling pressures and standards.

Jughead Jones was taking a creative writing class at NYU. He had moved into co-ed apartments in the dorms and his roommate Archie Andrews was cool, they seemed to be hitting it off. They'd only been in college for four days but they've already scoped out the area together and they play video games together. That's what they were doing when they heard banging coming from outside their front door. "What's that?" Archie asked, pausing their game. "I have no idea, let's check it out" jughead said. When they opened their door they found two girls, a raven haired girl, dressed in pearls and heels and a blonde girl in a pastel sweater. "Erm.. hi can we help?" Archie asked. The two girls were trying to get a couch into their apartment. "Oh hi! Yes, we're trying to get our new couch into our apartment" the raven haired girl said. "I'm Veronica lodge and this is Betty cooper" she and the blonde girl waved. "Hey. I'm Archie Andrews and this is..." Archie said but was interrupted by jughead. "Jughead, I'm Jughead Jones". "Hi" Betty smiled at the boys. "So where's your apartment?" Archie asked. "This one right here" Veronica said, pointing to the door opposite their own. "Cool we're neighbours!" Archie grinned and they helped them move their couch into their apartment.

The girls apartment was spotless and decorated like the inside of a interiors magazine. "Nice place" jughead said. "Veronica's idea, her family paid for it" Betty told him. He didn't realise they were standing next to each other while Archie and Veronica were laughing about something. "Thank you for helping us" Betty said gratefully. "Of course, it's nice to know our neighbours" Jug said, a small smile making its way into his face. "B! We should order a pizza, to say thanks, would you boys like to stay?" Veronica asked. "I'll never say no to food" Jug agreed and Archie was nodding enthusiastically.

The four of them say at the girls table, pizzas between them. They all talked and laughed and by the end of the night it was safe to say they were on their way to being great friends. Around 9pm the boys left, after exchanging numbers and social media's. That evening when Betty was laying in bed she couldn't stop thinking about piercing blue eyes, and little did she know that over the hall, jugheads thoughts were also consumed by green eyes and blonde hair.
