Chapter 13

Leah

My mind felt scattered and disorientated at the thought of Bri in my room and Luke under my bed hiding from her.

One part of my body was saying, “Comfort her.” Since Austin must have been a total dick to her while the other part of me was saying, “Make her leave and get back to business with Luke.”  

“Okay what exactly happened Bri?” I ask cautiously watching her movements, because if she finds Luke and asks me why he’s there I’m going to have to lie and fight with him. Someway and somehow, I have to find a way to make us leave.

“I don’t know. We started to listen to you and Luke fight. Sorry by the way. You 2 would have been great together.” Bri added in as she was about to continue. This was going to hurt me now.

“Are you kidding me Bri? Luke was arrogant and correction is an ass. I shouldn’t have ever kissed him. He wasn’t worth it.” I lied. I wonder how he’s feeling.

 

Luke

I bite my lower lip and try my hardest not to speak or make a snarky comment. Leah was making me feel sadden and it made my heart ache. She sounded convincing and dare I say might actually be telling the truth?

“Surely you can’t mean that Leah? Come on Luke is really attractive, like Austin.” Bri cried as I rolled my eyes.

Wait till Austin hears from me. Now I sound like a women always wanting to talk about there feelings all the damn time. But Leah doesn’t she knows what to do and say properly and it’s nice to even just be around her.

“Back to the topic what did Austin say to you?” Leah pressed onward as Bri’s crying slowly came to a stop with some sniffs.

Bri starts to murmur something as I carefully move closer to the front slowly trying not to make any sound. Someone gets off the bed suddenly as I froze in place.

“Screw him! AUSTIIN! WHERE THE HELL IS AUSTIN?  AUSTIN?” Leah yelled at the top of her lungs as she flung her bedroom door open and it made a sudden bang noise as feet shuffled out of the room.

“Leah! LEAH WAIT!” Bri yelled storming off right after her as I sighed grateful for Leah making Bri leave and herself sadly.

I crawl out from under the bed and put on my pants quickly, leaving Leah’s room as I enter mine quietly. Thankfully none of the others came out yet.

Since, Leah was gone for now I decided to take a quick hot shower. I stripped out of my clothes and started to turn the hot water on as it ran down the drain. After the shutting the curtain, my body is met with the burning sensation of water melt my skin off.

The steaming water makes my skin feel numb and soft as I start to wash myself with a bar of soap quickly and then my hair as well.

After a short amount of time, I shut the water off and start to grab a towel as I wrap it around my waist and head out into my room.

“Leah what are you…”

Her lips burned of rage, love and lust all in one as her arms wrapped around my neck. My hands stay firmly on her waist as I gently rub her softly. “Mmm...”

“I love you.” Leah mumbled in between our lips touching.

“Can you repeat that?” I ask astonished and slightly pull away to see her beautiful face and eyes telling me something, I’ve wanted to hear someone say they meant to me.

“I love you Luke. I love you.” Her lips curved up into a soft and warm smile then as I kissed her softly and pulled away as our foreheads touched.
