Monoma's POV:
I stood on her front steps contemplating what I would say if someone other than Hana opened the door. I'm sure I could just play it cool if Sayuri opened the door, and just crack a few jokes with Present Mic until Hana comes. But, Eraserhead, why was he so intimidating? I get that he's protective, but geez he scares the crap out of me sometimes.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts and knocked on the door. My heart was beating against my ribcage as I waited. I was just about to turn and leave when my worst nightmare became a reality. Eraserhead had just answered the door with a very annoyed look on his face.
"You're here to pick up Hana for your date?" He asked, his glare never faltering.
"It's not a date, I promise it's not like that at all!" I waved my hands about in over-exaggerated gestures.
He stepped out onto the steps with me and shut the door behind him. "Listen, I know you like her. It's so obvious, but she seems to be the only one that doesn't notice. I don't like you at all, but hanging out with you makes her happy. So, just don't fuck it up, or you will regret it." He opened the door and led me inside without another word.
Now I'm even more nervous than I had been before. He knew it was a date, which means she told them about it and he put two and two together. Or even worse, she put two and two together and figured out it was a date and told them about it. What am I gonna do?
"Neito, how long have you been here?" A familiar voice asked from somewhere behind me.
I turned to see Hana standing on the stairs with her bag slung over her shoulder. She was smiling at me as she made her way over to the couch. I could feel Aizawa's eyes on me as I stood to meet her halfway.
"I just got here actually. Are you ready to go?" I was so eager to get away from her dad that I honestly didn't care if she was ready to go or not. I pulled her to the door and quickly threw my shoes on before pulling her outside.
"You're pretty excited to go study," she giggled as we made our way down the sidewalk.
"No offense, but I just had to get out of your house. I just had to." I said as I finally began to slow my pace.
"What happened? It wasn't Hizashi being weird, was it?" She groaned as she ran a hand through her two toned locks.
"Who's Hizashi?" I asked.
"Present Mic." She answered as if it were completely obvious.
"Why don't you just call him Dad?" I asked.
"Then, you wouldn't know which one I was talking about." She answered in a bored tone.
"Yeah, I guess that's true. But, no, it wasn't Present Mic. It was Eraserhead." I mumbled.
"What did he do, Neito?" She stopped walking as she tilted her head to the side like a puppy, bubblegum tinted strands falling into her face. God, she was cute.
"He's just playing that Dad role, you know? Like the ones out of the movies, the really intimidating kinda guy." I ran my fingers through my hair as I let out an awkward laugh.
She ran over to me and threw her arms around me, burying her head in my chest. I was taken aback by her sudden display of affection, but, I quickly wrapped my arms around her as well.
"I'm sorry that my dads are so weird." She mumbled into my chest.
"It's fine, it's what they do. It just means they care. Plus, just wait until you meet my parents. Then, we'll be even." I laughed and she just squeezed me a bit before letting go.
"Come on, let get to that restaurant, I'm starving." She smiled before taking my hand in her own. "Lead the way, oh great and all powerful Neito."
"You know, you're kinda weird." I said, laughing.
She pulled her hand away from mine, crossed her arms, and pretended to pout. "I'm not weird."
"Yes, you are. Trust me though, it's a good thing." I said, draping an arm around her shoulders as I began to walk in the direction of the restaurant.

"So, what exactly should be be working on when we get back to your place?" She asked as she took a bite from her sushi.
"Well, I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. I suck ass at math. So, that should probably go first." I answered as I sipped my soda.
"Well, I need help with battle strategies. I can beat almost everyone in our class, I know I can. But, somehow, I can't figure out how to do that. We'll probably be sparring sometime soon, and I have no idea how to go about that." She sighed.
"What do you mean, help with strategies? Do you not know who you beat in the sports festival?" I asked, my voice coming out a bit louder than expected.
"Neito, I got to watch them fight other people before I went up against them. I saw their strategies first. Todoroki perfers to use long range attacks, but if necessary he can make precision moves. Bakugou prefers and basically needs close to mid range combat for his attacks to actually cause damage. So it's simple, get in close to Todoroki, but don't stay for two long. Stay away from Bakugou until you know there's an opening, then disorientate him and he goes down easy." She explained as she took a drink from her glass.
"Your good at analyzing others, but why did you watch them so closely?" I asked as I just stared across the table at her.
"I knew that I would probably have to fight one of them. They were the biggest and strongest competitors that I faced. I'm just barely over five foot tall and I don't have a lot of muscle. If I wanted at least a chance at winning I was going to have to be able to predict their movements. I couldn't just go in completely blind." She raise an eyebrow at me.
"That actually makes a lot of sense now that you explain it." A laughed sheepishly.
"Alright, are you ready to head out? I'm done with my food." She said as she checked the time on her phone.
"Yeah, let's go." I said, getting up and walking to the counter to pay, ignoring her complaints about it.
