There has been talk of vampires spreading throughout Skyrim like a plague. First, it was Riverwood that was attacked, then Whiterun and eventually their assault even reached towards Riften. (Y/n) would dismiss this story of vampires as just stories if she didn't see them with her own eyes and fought them with her own blade. Terrifying and horrible creatures these are, one bite of their fangs and you become one of them. (Y/n), however, even heard of the warriors who fight these bloodthirsty monsters. The Dawnguard. Seeing no other option, she decided to join this group of vampire hunters and prayed to the Divines that they do their job well.
The warrior set out in the search of the Dawnguard, looking twice over her shoulder every few moments in her journey because these vampires were everywhere and could attack from anywhere and at any moment. "Even paranoia has its limit, this is just taking it to the next level" (y/n) muttered as her eyes searched for either an entrance to the Dawnguard Keep or any vampires lurking in the shadows. After a tiring journey through the misty and ever autumn forests of Rift, she finally appeared to a cave, what seemed like the entrance to this keep... at least that's what the map says.
"It could be a vampire's den too... but I guess I have to check this first" she sighed and looked around before heading into the cave.
The interior of the cave was dark, dank and filled with cobwebs, not to mention the horrible stench but it wasn't as deep or filled with chambers like any other cave. This looked like a passageway through a mountain, upon realizing that, she sighed of relief.

Much to her pleasant surprise, she appeared in a beautiful place, waterfalls in the distance, a little snowy with the sun peeking through the clouds and surely the presence of the ancient Keep of Dawnguard looming not too far away.
"This is great!" (Y/n) happily stared at the view for a moment before continuing her journey to that Keep.
"Greetings! You are here to join the Dawnguard?" A young man in his mid twenties walked up to (y/n), he looked like he never even picked up a sword.
"Greetings" she replied "yes, after the nasty rumors about them became true, I couldn't just sit around..." she sighed before talking again "what about you? You are here to fight vampires as well" she asked
"I am, but the truth is I'm kind of nervous... I have never really killed a person and I'm afraid that Isran will not even care to train me as a vampire hunter" he replied, the happiness in his eyes disappearing only momentarily before returning again "Can I walk with you up that Keep?" He asked and nervously smiled
"Of course" (y/n) agreed, smiling back to him "truth to be told, I'm a little nervous as well" she said, though he couldn't understand if she was just saying that to comfort him or that she was truly afraid.
"That makes two of us" he cheerfully grinned and followed (y/n) to the Keep.
Just as the pair entered the ancient castle, they could hear two men arguing in the main hall. "That's Isran" Agmaer pointed at the bearded man with a Dawnguard armor on
"And that's a Vigilante Of Stendarr..." (y/n) pointed at the man wearing robes and plate armor
"But why are they fighting?" Agmaer asked
"Looks we will have to find out" she shrugged.
Before she could even ask Isran about the argument, the vigilante stormed out of the hall, and seeing the anger on Isran's face, she didn't bother asking about it
"Are you the leader of the Dawnguard?" (Y/n) asked, Isran glanced at the newcomers "you are here to join the Dawnguard?" he looked at (y/n) as if Agmaer was completely invisible here
"And I wish to join as well" Agmaer quickly said, Isran turned his gaze to the young man "you?" he looked like he would burst from laughter "what's your experience with vampires?" he said sarcastically
"I never fought any vampires, I just use my Pa's axe to chase off any wolves that attack our farm" he replied honestly
"Go and chase off wolves, we need real soldiers at this time, not farm boys" Isran replied angrily before he stormed off as well.

Agmaer shook his head and sat down on a nearby crate, disheartened.
(Y/n) feeling bad for him, she approached him and sat down beside him
"Well, that was a little unexpected" she said, laughing slightly to lighten the mood but it didn't seem to work
"I knew that I should've stayed home, all of this was for nothing" he sighed
"Who cares if Isran doesn't want to teach you how to fight" she said
"What do you mean?" Agmaer asked, he looked like he was afraid to even hope of being enrolled amongst the Dawnguard
"If he won't teach you then I will" she proudly smiled at him "I'll make you a capable or even a great vampire hunter, you just watch" she added
"Really?! You would?!" Agmaer's eyes lit up, regaining his hopes back "thank you so much!" He awkwardly hugged (y/n), she was taken by surprise when he did so, he let her go and stretched out his hand to her
"I'm Agmaer, I forgot to introduce myself completely" he laughed embarrassingly
"I'm (y/n), a pleasure to make your acquaintance" she shook his hand "let's go and learn how to kill some vampires then" she said. Agmaer happily nodded, before they both left to the training room...
