i read this book once before, five years ago. thing is, i had this one screenshot i took in 2015 from some dialogue i found pretty fuckin' funny. i couldn't get this story outta my goddamn brain. every year since i tried to search the dialogue and the tags i could remember about it and find it again but i never did. a couple of days ago i was clearing out my photos and i saw the screenshot and i thought "fuck it. one last time i'll try to find it." So i typed out a full page of the fic from the picture and i found it. my mind hadn't prepared for it to be there, but i found it. so i reread the shit out of it instead of this almost 200,000 word novel for school. here's my review:

and my final thoughts on the fic: this story has a special place in my heart. well-written. alpha dean. omega cas. good smut. good plot and very well thought out. until the end.
don't get me wrong here, i LOVED that book, still do. i just feel like the author got tired of writing it, and made this very sloppy bow to throw on top. gotta be honest, i skimmed the last few chapters. cas made a terrible decision that i felt was dragged out too long and then they kinda slapped together a resolution to it.
the book in general was great. I loved it. i was just super disappointed in the ending.
