A/N: This is kind of a recap sort of thing so you understand whats going on in pt 2

"Wait! Is she going to be okay?" You hear your boyfriend say while Abby and Clarke start to take you into medical.

"She's loosing too much blood. Hurry!" Abby said in a harsh tone. She gave him a not so convincing look before rushing into the medical room after you. The last thing you saw before passing out was his face turn white from fear and his hands covered in your blood.

Time skip

"She's waking up!" You hear Raven say excitedly.

You open your eyes to see everyone crowding around you. Everyone except for the one person you were hoping to see.

"Where's Murphy?" You say looking around for him.

"He's gone..." you hear Clarke say. "Him and Jaha left with a group of people." She said her voice dropping.

"Jaha said they were looking for some place called 'the city of light'. Whatever that means." You hear your brother Bellamy say in a cocky way. You knew he meant well but it didn't matter. It somehow hurt your feelings.

You sigh and try to get out of the bed. You stumbled a bit before falling. Luckily Bellamy caught you and helped you up before you could hit the floor or anything else for that matter. You hadn't realized the throbbing in your leg until he sat you down and you caught a glimpse of it. Your leg had stitches going from the middle of your thigh all the way to just below your knee. You winced at the sight of it and it all came back to you. Murphy had caught you trying to leave the camp and he had followed you into the woods. He told you to wait up but you were too stubborn to listen. You looked behind you for just a second before you felt yourself begin to fall forward. You felt an unbearable pain in your leg and looked down to see a big piece of metal from the ark sticking out of it. Murphy ran to help and he had carried you inside. That was the last thing you remembered before it went dark.

"How long was I out?" You asked confused.

"It's been about 4 days Y/N. You lost a lot of blood and we didn't think you would make it." Abby says looking at you in a concerned way.

"Bu- but how? Why would he just leave me?" You asked getting angry.

"Y/N your heart stopped. It was too much for him to handle so he left." She said while rubbing your shoulder gently.

You feel a rush of emotions before telling everyone to get out and leave you alone. Abby had stayed and was still holding onto your shoulder trying to comfort you. You slapped her hand off angrily and told her to get out too. She listened to what you said and walked out of the room, closing the door gently behind her. You felt angry at him for leaving you to die but you also felt guilt since you were the one who wanted to go for a walk. But you also felt thankful. Thankful for how much he cared about you. You lay down on the bed and just start to cry. You haven't felt this type of way in so long, not since your mother got floated. Just then Jasper walked into the room and sat down on the chair beside your bed. You looked at him and smiled, happy that he was there. Jasper was one of your best friends and you were happy to see him again.

You talked for awhile before he left. By then Abby had already came into the room to check on you and to tell you to get some rest. You fell asleep but not before realizing the gift Jasper had left for you. Sitting on the bedside table next to you was a MP3 player. You smiled again before Abby told you to go to sleep. You were exhausted so you did exactly what she said.

That night you dreamed about the walk and what you had planned on saying. Both you and Murphy showed your love for each other through actions because you didn't know how to say it to each other. But that walk was your chance to do so. You had finally gained the confidence and you were excited to say it to him. You kept seeing the metal sticking out of your leg and Murphy rushing over to you. It kept happening over and over again until you woke up drenched in sweat. Nights were always like this. You tried to think about other things but your mind couldn't help but go to the last moments you had with your boyfriend.

"Y/N wait up!" You heard him say, quickly walking over to you. It was too dark to see anything but you looked back at him anyways. Then it happened. You fell forward and saw the metal in your leg. Over and over again. You saw Murphy run over to you and you saw the fear in his eyes as he picked you up and ran you into the camp. You felt the sharp pains in your leg and you heard Abby yelling, then you woke up.

You wanted to find a way to keep yourself from falling asleep. You tried medicine that you stole but that didn't work, you tried to drink coffee but that didn't work either. You tried so many things to keep you from sleeping but all the effort you were putting in had made you exhausted. You yawned and tried to brace yourself for another terrible night when you looked over at your bedside table. You saw the MP3 player that Jasper had left for you a while ago but you had never had the chance to pick it up. You quickly grabbed it and started to scroll through the playlist that was on it and you recognized some of the songs. You hit the play button and listened to the playlist on repeat for the whole night.

You kept doing this every night since then because it worked. You would sing all of the songs over and over again for the whole night. You haven't slept in at least 6 days and to you that meant that you haven't thought about Murphy in about a week. But there was one song that you would always try to skip because whenever you let it play you would think about him. You would think about the type of conversations that the two of you had and you would think about hugging him and just feeling safe again. You would feel happy for a split second until you remembered that he was gone and the memories of that night would play in your head. It's been and few months since he left and you missed him and all but you knew that you had to forget about him if you were ever going to live a 'normal' life again.
