Background info:Isabella has been seperated from her father since she was a baby. Her aunt and uncle took her in, when living with her father became dangerous for her. They always told her, that her parents love her,miss her and that one day her father would come for her. Isabella has been waiting for that day for 13 very long years.

NCIS got called for a case on East Ending Street in Washington, address of the house is 240, an all to familiar location to Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. "Grab your Gear!" Gibbs yelled out to his team, grabbing his badge, keys and gun; the rest of his team did the same.

Local police, fire deparment, and paramedics were already at the crime scene. Gibbs immediately started barking orders at his team, before he walked over to the paramedics, noticing a girl, the only thing he had left of Shannon and Kelly, on oxygen in the back of the ambulance.

Gibbs took in a long breath as he looked around the crime scene, the burning house, Ducky examining the burnt bodies, his daughter laying in the back of the ambulance, and his team doing their job before he started asking questions. "Where there any witnesses?" Special agent Gibbs asked one of the police officers.

"No there was a call from one of the neighbors who heard gunshots and witnessed the house being on fire around 1700- 1800." The officer said, he then looked over at the young girl in the back of the ambulance, "She was the only one who survived the fire, we're not sure if she has any other family but she'll need someone to stay with her at the hospital."

Gibbs nodded as he wrote down the information the officer just gave him, "My Team and I will take turns staying with her at the hospital, after her release she will be under NCIS custody until further notice." He was hoping his daughter would be okay, the only ones who knew where Ducky and Abby.

The officer nodded, "Alright we'll leave this to NCIS, the ambulance is about to leave to take her to the hospital so one of your team members need to go with her." The officer then got into his car as did the other police officers and left. Gibbs sighed as he walked over to Ducky, getting little information until the bodies are in autopsy.

"DiNozzo!" Gibbs yelled motioning for Tony to come to him, "Yeah Boss!" Special agent Anthony D. DiNozzo said as he came running over to his boss. "Your in charge until I get back, I want as much information as possible about what happened here. Ziva and I will be taking turns staying the night at the hospital until the girl gets out of the hospital, then she will be staying at my house until other arrangements are made."

"Yes Boss!" DiNozzo said, nervous since this is the first time Gibbs has ever put him in charge in a long time. Gibbs walked to the ambulance smiling to himself, before he got in the back letting the paramedics know what was going on. He held his daughter's hand the whole way to the hospital, his heart pounding in his chest and his famous gut telling him that this was no accident.
