Bens room of horror

The eight of us pedaled down the street. In the back, Eddie and Richie held a loud conversation. I ignored them by focusing on the road in front of me.

"Im kinda scared to be honest." Rose admitted from beside me. Bev was on my other side. The three of us engaged in our own conversation.

"Same, I mean what of one of us go missing before we figure this out." I quietly said to them. Rose nodded turing into Bens driveway.

Ben quickly threw his bike on the ground a ran inside. I blinked, startled at how fast he moved. I hopped off my bike staggering slightly.

"Guys wait!" I shouted noticing that everyone was already in the door. I jogged up the steps and stepped inside.

"Cool, huh?" Ben asked Richie grinning. I smiled as I entered the room, seeing Ben happy.

"No, nothing cool. There's nothing cool. Well this is cool, wait, no it's not." Richie remarked not noticing my presence. I rolled my eyes at Richie's asshole demeanor. He could at least pretend to like Ben's room.

"What's that?" Rose asked pointing to something on the wall. My brows furrowed, turning to see an odd map taped to his wall.

"That?" Stanley asked. Rose nodded. "I've been wondering that too."

"That's the charter for Derry Township." Ben butted in, answering the question. Rose raised a brow.

"Nerd alert," Richie snorted. I smacked the side of his head, the boy scoffing as he moved away.

"Actually, it's really cool Ben,  I love history personally." I told him shoving past Richie to stand next to Ben. Richie's eyes rolled, making a face to mock me. My eyes narrowed before Rose shoved her way between the two of us. Ben cleared his throat relieving the awkward tension that had arose in the air.

"Uh Derry started as a beaver trapping camp."

"Still is, am I right, boys?" Richie joked, brushing off my glare. Nobody answered, only Stan placing Richies now raised arm back down at his side.

"Ninety-one people signed the charter that made Derry. But later that winter, they all disappeared without a trace," Ben explained.

"The entire camp?" Eddie asked gulping loudly. The Kaspbrak boys eyes widen as they darted around the room.

"There were rumors of Indians... but no sign of an attack. Everyone thought it was a plague or something. But it's like... one day everybody just woke up and left." Ben explained. I shuddered at the thought of everything being there one day, then it just disappearing into thin air the next. "The only clue was a trail of clothes leading to the well-house." Ben finished turning to talk to Bev about something.
