(a sequel to dressing rooms and discovery)
jimin felt the crushing weight of his existence on him as he tried to get out of bed. oh. it was going to be one of those days. one of those days where his brain just wouldn't shut up and he just couldn't bear to function like a normal human being. he dreaded these days. he loathed himself for lying to all the people he cared about and pushing them farther away. telling them he was fine , when he knew he was the farthest thing from that. especially yoongi. but, since yesterday at the mall, jimin wasn't quite sure where yoongi stood . yoongi had broken the careful wall he built between his emotions and all his problems and everyone else . jimin wasn't quite sure how to patch up the hole, or even if he wanted to. he was s tired of being alone but a small part of him believed that for some messed up reason he deserved it, that he deserved to be alone and face all his problems alone.
while jimin when through this crisis, a warm body next to him shifted and jolted jimin out of his thoughts." why are you up so early," yoongi said, sleepily, as he yawned . " just thinking about what classes i have today ," jimin tried to reply as nonchalantly as possible." bullshit," yoongi said, his voice much more firm and awake," i thought i told you yesterday that i would be there to catch you but that can only happen if you let me in ." yoongi wrapped his arms around the smaller boy and just like that, the facade jimin had so carefully perfected, the years of trying to deal with everything alone, came crumbling down .
he pushed himself into yoongi's chest and yoongi put his arms around him ."it'll be fine, "yoongi murmured in his ear. and for the first time in what felt like forever, jimin actually felt like everything would be okay.
yoongi looked down at his boyfriend curled into his chest and decided in that moment, he would be jimin's safety net, his stability. he had already been an idiot to miss the whole thing going on with someone he loved and he sure as hell wasn't going to let jimin go through that alone ever again. jimin's walls were falling and yoongi was finally getting to see all of jimin and he had never been more in love .
