*Again, sorry if it doesn't sound logic because I didn't name place or because of the part-time job or anything that seems strange to you. It just a story? *

I was impressed with the town's high school which it was pretty much screaming 'money' with fancy and expensive cars and superbike at the parking lot but the aura is still the same as the school I went before, you know, cheerleaders, 'tough' guys, nerds, goths etc, etc. Some student still hang out outside while others walk towards the school entrance while talking with their friends or making out at the corner. Stellar look at them with that 'judge eyes', probably selecting her new minions or followers. Once Uncle Ralph parks his Mercedes car, he kills the engine and look at me instantly. "You better check that attitude of yours. Do not embarrass me or disgrace my name."

Of course. Uncle Ralph was pretty famous among businessmen and well influence people which it make people know him and his family, including me who they have 'embrace' me after I lost my parents. I heard that they have a meeting with the town council to meet with the people who live around our residence this afternoon. I have no idea why would they instantly meet up with uncle Ralph and Julia unless they have fan their money in front of them when checking this place or the community's own tradition which is to welcome a newcomer. I nod my head silently at his order while scratching my inner arm.

Aunt Julia narrows her eyes at me, a last silent warning before we all step out of the car. People instantly stare at us as we made our way to the school ground. A middle-age teacher was waiting at the entrance and he looks a bit nervous as we approach.

"Mr and Mrs Crawford." He greet us which from the look of the student around us, a teacher never welcome a parent like this before. "Principle Clark is waiting at her office."

And that how it goes; meeting the principle, taking our schedules and books, kissing goodbye at Stellar of course. I got a pat on the back which mean a reminder to behave and not to swipe dirt on his name. Mrs Clark seems like a nice person though. While Aunt Julia babbled about Stellar's arts and yada, yada, Mrs. Clark replied a few before she gives her attention to me, asking what I interest in studies. I only glanced at aunt Julia once only to see those meaningful blue eyes that said 'stay low', I carefully said that I'm only interested in science, generally. She tilted her head, observing and I almost shift in my seat under her pale grey watchful eyes. It's not a judge eyes that almost everyone have been giving at me, but instead, she was observing, studying me like she saw something that I didn't notice that I was displaying in my eyes.

Once, uncle Ralph and aunt Julia left, Stellar snatches my schedule and read. "Looks like we're going to have PE, English Literature and biology together." She hands it back. "We can share notes, you know what I mean?"

I give her a look. "Aren't you the most 'brilliant' student back in our school as aunt Julia mentioned? Or maybe that brilliant means brilliant in cheating?"

Stellar blinked and her pale blue eyes darken but she keeps her smile on her face. "I guess I'm good at something, unlike you, loser."

I tried not to flinch but her word pull a string in me because it's true, I'm not good in anything. Sometimes, I'm clumsy and it just a pathetic of me. She smiles brightly when she saw my short pause. With that, she walks away from me and a few girls with almost the same style as Stellar stop her and then they were laughing, welcoming her with open arms. They talk like they've known each other for so long. Well they probably did know her since she's famous in Instagram.

The bell ring and the students quickly scramble away from their lockers to get to their first class. I sigh and scratch my arm again. Let's begin the day then.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time or maybe my patience seems not on my side today. I want this day and the next and next day to be quick except on Friday and weekend. Why not Friday? It's a reminder of my failure and my little redemption. Although I have a 'mark' to remember that event but I guess the word 'Friday' just trigger everything that happened on that day.
