Dan's POV

"Hey buddy, you in London?" Phil asked.

"I wished I was. I lived there for most of my life. I moved to California after my last boyfriend. I'd rather not get into it, if thats okay. But it turns out California isn't a really good place to start over."

"Oh, that's too bad. But we can still be internet friends, I don't have a roommate yet so I'm kinda lonely lolz"

I chuckled. Phil was nice. I only had 1 conversation with him and I can already tell we would be good friends. I didnt even cow are if he looked like a nerd with a black head of hair, that went the opposite direction of my brown fringe. Or if he had different taste of colors as me ( which of course is black) i just cared that for once is two years, I had someone care about me, without even knowing what I was like.

"Dan? Daannn?" I heard threw my cell.

"Oh u-um yeah?"

"I have to go for now, but I just wanted to say, I really liked talking with you. Even if you are the complete opposite of me. But just, please dont do anything you'll regret. I'll call you tonight. See ya"

"bye"

He was so sweet. All I wanted to do was just call him and talk to him more. I checked the time, "1:28" we we're talking a full hour?! I was already late for my shift at Starbucks, where I always seem to get peoples name wrong. How the fuck was i supposed to know that you spell Brody, B-R-O-E-D-I-E ?" I only had 5 minutes before work. If I got dressed I wouldn't have enough time to straighten my secretly curly hair.

"Eh what the hell." I got dressed and let my curled hair bounce back and forth as I ran threw the busy streets of California landing at work just in time.

3 hours later

"Thank you, come again." I looked at my watch. Only 2 hours to go before i could leave work and talk to my one and only friend. Was I taking this to serious? We had only talked for an hour, even if it only felt like 4 minutes.

I could only wonder if i could see him in person. We would probably go get ice cream and cloud gaze. It sounds weird but it's always what I've wanted to do with a friend.

"Um, hello?" I looked back forward, there was another costumer.

"Please let this day be over" I said under my breath.
