"Did something came up while I was gone?" she asked the morning after her return from the capital.

"Your editor came to get your manuscript mistress and Miss Catherine dropped by to deliver you some notes" Alice gave her the said notes and she look into the topics she'd missed in class.

"Did Raijin call?" Jean shake her head

"I see" she dropped the notes. She already expected that Raijin will not bother to ask for her but it's still a little bit disappointing to know that he did not even care. "Tell Arthur to ready the car, I'm going to school" Lina immediately went to inform the driver.

"Oh, I almost forgot mistress" Alice took an envelope from her apron and handed it to her "Mr. Kobayakawa said that it is an invitation for the third author's gathering of Jayfen and he wishes for you to attend it." She checked the date and notice that it was scheduled before the midterm exam

"Thank you Alice" she put the invitation in her bag "then I'll be going" the maids bowed down and gave their cursory response.

When Rin reached Argent she noticed the familiar two cars behind her. When the driver opened the door and she went out, Catherine and Kana had also just gotten out of their own cars. Their simultaneous exit seems to have taken the attention of some of the students as others had stopped to look in their direction.

"Rin!!" Catherine who had noticed her first immediately went to her side, following behind her is Kana "you're back, I thought you're supposed to return last Monday"

"Sorry 'bout that, I had fever and papa and dada delayed my return"

"Well, your health is the priority"

"To think that there would come a time that you would get sick" Kana said while looking her up and down

"Yes, it's a novel experience"

"Okay, you two stop it. It's a good morning and I don't want you two ruining it with your usual banter" she just shrugged

"Rin!!" the three of them just passed by the gate when she heard someone calling her name. Looking in front she saw Andrew coming towards her.

"Guys, you go first" she told her friend while waiting for Andrew. "Andrew" she greeted her friend when he finally stood in front of her

"You!" he said with an accusing tone making her look at him confusion, she doesn't recall anything that could warrant Andrew to speak with her in such a tone "do you know what kind of commotion you've done in the capital?"

"Commotion?" she can't think of any for she'd only went there to film an advertisement.

"This" Andrew showed his phone and glaring in front of her is a close up of the same scene where she supposedly smile "the net and your fans had been blowing up since this showed up last night"

"I'm innocent" she immediately defended herself

"I know" Andrew chuckled at her words "however, it is the first time that you've smiled on camera" he said while touching his chin as if he's contemplating on something "Say, Rin, can you smile at me, maybe if I sell your smiling photo I could make it rich" she immediately give him a knock on the head "Hey!"

"Don't go smart with me"

"I'm just teasing you" he put his arms around her shoulders when she smell something from him which caused her to stop walking "Something wrong?" She immediately took hold of his blazers and smell him "Hey, Rin, you're acting weird"
