(a/n: sorry bout the broken update promise. i was too preoccupied with the novel I was reading that I totally forgot about the update. Thanks to @LauellAngela21 for the reminder.

P.S i was watching WHAT'S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM when I was typing the following chapter so I'm pretty sure the drama failed, hopefully the feeling still transfers)

  "Rin?" looking up from her script, Rin turn to her back and saw Meirin who seems surprise to see her in the library. Looking at Meirin's back she tried to see if Aoi is with her before turning her gaze back at Meirin.

"You seem surprise to see me here"

"Well...you know you're always inside teacher Takano's office that it's a little surprising to see you here in the library"

"It is also a little weird to see you alone without Aoi trailing behind you"

"Ah..." Meirin held her head as if in pain "Can we not talk about that demon king! Just because Monique is not here he thinks that he could toy with me? Do I look that easy? Even if that guy will pay me a million dollars I will not play with him" She uttered with gritted teeth and clenching hands. Waah she looks really mad "Anyway did you have a falling out with Teacher Takano?"

"That..."

"Does it involve Kana? Your love life is really bloody, to think that your fiancé is in love with your friend"

"Where did you get that idea?"

"Idea? It's not an idea but it's pretty obvious if I may say so"

"O-obvious?"

"What?" Meirin chuckled "You really do have a robotic face" Rin look at Meirin in confusion, not getting her at all " An emotionless façade, that's why the entertainment circle calls you as the ice queen however you might have not noticed it but your eyes shines brightly like the sune whenever Teacher Takano is involved and it turns back to its deadly state whenever you see Kana with him" right, I forgot that her past life involves meeting with different people that's why she had a knack on reading people.

"You're terrifying on this aspect"

"It's what's keeping me alive" Meirin gave out a bitter smile that a memory flashed in Rin's eyes. A memory of a bloodied girl from a long, long time ago.

"You!" she immediately seized Meirin's hand which startled her.

"Rin Pasklovia" Rin froze when she heard a familiar voice calling her name. After hearing the incoming footsteps, without a second thought, she let go off Meirin's arm.

Taking her bag she was about to run away when a cold hand seized her. "Do you think you can ran away that easily?"

' "Good morning teacher Takano" Meirin greeted behind her

"You're the next student council treasurer aren't you?" Rin tried to take her hand away but his grip tightened making her escape impossible.

"Yes, sir"

"Then work hard"

"Yes, sir! Then I'll leave for a while" Meirin took one book and before she leave she even gave a conspicuous wink at Rin.

"Now then...why don't we have a talk, alone" I don't want to!!!!!

"What are you doing standing there?" Raijin asked while taking off his jersey jacket. Rin who is looking in daze, could only sit still. "You haven't been coming for the past days that I'm wondering if you started running away from your job after you got what you want" that's it? You only look for me because you need an assistant? Rin inwardly sigh I really should stop imagining things, it'll only end up in disappointment.
