Percy

I wanted to do something, anything really to get my mind off of things.

I was so desperate to the point that visiting the Avengers Tower seemed to me like a good idea.

   I know... very desperate.

I haven't heard of Tin Man and Bruce Banner ever since the battle of New York. I wasn't there when they sent off Thor and Loki. I was too caught up with Reyna's injury.

And besides, I needed help in something. I made plans to build a trident. I tried the tridents at camp, it didn't work. While I could use them easily, they were unbalanced. So I decided to make my own.

And who was the best person to help me into building it, besides Leo Valdez, Tony Stark. And Nat told me that Stark would be willing to upgrade any technology the Avengers might need improved. Don't know if that also included building one, but from what I gathered, Tony Stark was like Leo Valdez, minus the man-whoring part and the stupid recklessness. Well... Leo is sometimes stupid and reckless even though that would be his ADHD kicking in just like any other demigod but that's beside the point. The point is, that both of them like building stuff and Tony, hopefully, wouldn't mind to help. His ego would get bigger, that's for sure but I would be there to knock it down a notch or twenty.

I didn't feel like going through the front door. But who said I had to?

First, I hacked into Stark's Tower system and made it so I could override J.A.R.V.I.S. at anytime I wanted, having even more control over the A.I. than Tony. And let me tell you, hacking Tony Stark's home computing system was hard, like really hard. But my godfather once done it so he could sneak into Tony's house, so I think I have a fair chance into doing it too.

"What did the computer ever did to you?"

I was snapped out of my furious typing when I heard the voice of the waiter. I turned to look at him, adjusting my glasses that were about to slip from my nose. "What?"

"What did the computer ever did to you? You look like you're about to murder somebody," the waiter joked.

I stared at him for a second, blinked my eyes because they were a bit bloodshot from the computer screen, then turned back to the screen, continued my task into hacking J.A.R.V.I.S. making sure he doesn't see what I'm doing on the screen and gave him a clipped answer. "Work."

The waiter gave me a sympathizing nod, then shifted uncomfortably when I looked at him, raising an eyebrow. I assessed him quickly to make sure he wasn't a threat. He was lean and 6 feet tall and he was in his early twenties, caramel hair and chocolate brown eyes. All in all, he was normal. Not a monster or an agent in disguise. So I relaxed a bit, but kept my guard up, just in case. I quickly looked at the nametag. His name was Dustin. I filed it away in my brain for later.

"So... Is there anything I can get you?" He said finally, a faint blush dusting his cheeks. I raised an eyebrow at that.

"Um... Ice tea, please." I hated, no, despised coffee, I drank it once and regretted it, hating the bitter taste. So I only drank hot chocolate, tea, anything really, but coffee.

"Not a coffee fan, are you?" He asked while writing it down, "Anything else? No? Okay."

He left and I resumed to my task. I barely noticed him putting my ordered ice tea on the table because I finally made a breakthrough on J.A.R.V.I.S. firewalls. I looked at it in shock, a wide smile forming on my face and whooped. I got some annoyed looks but I ignored them.

Dustin jumped, startled, and looked at me with a curious face. "I didn't know that someone would be that excited to ice tea" he joked, amusement shown on his face.

I laughed and finished the coding quickly shut down the computer. I slurped the ice tea and paid the check with a generous tip while giving a dazzling smile to Dustin who blushed in response.

"You have some long nice legs, sweetheart" I heard a voice say followed by a chuckle and a slap on my ass. My face went blank and I slowly turned around to look at the asshole who touched me. He was middle-aged with a receding hairline. Dustin was about to say something but I held up a finger to shush him. I looked at the man and gave him a sweet smile before I punched his nose. An sickening crack was heard and blood was pouring out from his nose.

   "You bitch, you broke it!..."

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a pitcher full of iced water. "Ice will help" I said before pouring the iced water on his face. "Hijo de puta."

He let out a string of curses while I gave a twenty dollar to Dustin and went out of the diner. I went to an abandoned alley and vapor traveled inside the tower. I felt like I could curl up on the hard cold floor right now and take a nap but I snapped myself awake and called out immediately. "J.A.R.V.I.S., do not tell anyone that I am here. Do not alert the security either. If Tony asks you why you didn't tell him I was here, do not reply."

An evil smile spread across my face. Oh the pranks that are going to happen...

I walked through the halls of the Avengers Tower, riding the elevators down to the lab. I found both Bruce Banner and Tony Stark staring at the screen, trying to figure something up. I smirked. They were both facing away from which was the perfect set up.

I readied my phone and began recording. "What are you doing?" I said loudly. And just as I predicted, they both startled very badly to the point that she has to bite her knuckles so she won't outright laugh.

Tony jumped three feet high, squawking like a ten-year-old and flailing his arms like a chicken. It was really comical. Bruce also jumped and put a hand on his chest, tryiing to calm his beating.

I couldn't help but chuckle. "Oh, this is so blackmail material."

Sorry I didn't update sooner but I had a huge writer block and didn't know what write about. School will begin soon so expect slower updates. Please give some ideas on what to write about.

So sorry...
