It had been three months since since Nathan basically assaulted her. It was two weeks before Christmas break was to begin. Bucky hadn't dated anyone exclusively since him and ex wife Olivia ended their marriage 2 years ago.

Scott came into his office "Hey man school hasn't changed much. I know you asked me to get you this information three months ago but it took alot of digging." he said

"What do you mean?' Bucky said as he took the file.

"Kinsley Joanna Thomas-Roberts vs. Joshua Blake Roberts.Married June 23rd - Divorced January 30th." he read

"That's why it took awhile..marriages that are annuled after a year and half don't show up in the system at all because an annulment is basically the system's way of saying it never existed." Scott said

"It's her.." he said

"Who.." Scott said

"Thank you Scott." he said as he put the file in his desk and walked out.

"Welcome man." Scott said very confused.

Bucky let out a breathe "You can do this Barnes.." he said then he saw her in her office.

He knocked on her office door she looked up "Can I help you with something?' she said

"Um I was wondering if um you would like to have dinner with me like as a date?' he said

"Well this isn't the Bucky Barnes that was so smooth in high school that I heard all about.." she said

He looked at her "That's right I keep forgetting you are an alumni too. Which I want to hear more about how you started to attend here." he said

"Yeah I came in like at the last month of my sophomore year so that would make you a senior." she said

He looked down and shook his head.

"What's wrong?" she said as she leaned back in her chair.

"You remember Professor Scott?' he said as he walked over to her and leaned against her desk.

"Yeah he was my history professor during my sophomore year. Why?'" she said

Bucky looked down and pulled out his wallet and laid his license down in front of her the only way he knew that she would remember is that Professor Scott was the only one that ever called him James.

"James B Barnes.." she said then she looked up at him. "You were his TA.." she said as she looked up.

"I was..and you made it bearable with this beautiful face it gave me something to look forward too during that class. But then one day when you turned in your paper I saw your wedding ring..granted I had one too but at the time me and Olivia were going through our divorce proceedings." he said as he put his license back in his wallet.

"So dinner with you?' she said as twirled her pen.

"Yeah..or a drink which ever you would prefer it's totally up to you." he said

She smiled at him "Dinner and drinks sounds good to me.." she said

"Dinner and drinks it is then..so um Saturday at 7 I can pick you up. I have a truck that I drive during the colder months." he said

"Sounds good to me." she said

"Great.." ;he said

"By the way Barnes.. that question..the answer is two years it's been two years since I've been laid." she said as he stopped in his tracks.

He turned back around "Such a damn shame darlin." he said

She smiled at him "Maybe you can fix that for me.." she said she said with raised eye brows.

"Oh that's that flirty red hed attitude I love. And I might take you up on that offer darlin depends on how dinner goes." he said

She threw a paper wad at him "Hey.." he said as he walked back to her desk.

He kissed her lips she started to kiss back. "Something to look forward to darlin' he whispered

"Mm make it Friday.." she said

"Okay.." he said then he left her office.
