Chapter 11: Welcome Home Twins

On June 5th Kinsley's actual due date they were at the hospital getting them both changed and dressed. It was finally the day that they could take their girls home they had been driving back and forth every day between practices and work then just practice after school let out for the summer. They got them in their car seats signed their discharge papers all the nurses loved on them then they loaded up Kinsley's car with the car seats.

"Okay.." Bucky said as he put the car in drive. 

"Baby you alright" she said 

"Yeah.." he said 

"We aren't moving.." she said 

"I know I'm like praying for God to stop all the traffic and like part the road ways like my mama said he did with the sea when she use to teach sunday school." he said 

"Baby we are never gonna get home if you keep sitting here. We have company at home that have been waiting to see them." she said 

"Fine.." he said as he slowly backed out of the parking space and then slowly started towards the exit. 

Kinsley rolled her eyes "If I had known you were going to be like this when we had keys I would have scraped the whole idea of kids." she said 

"What? I"m driving" he said

"Yeah like a grandpa.." she said 

"Shut up..their birth was scary I didn't even get to see them come into the world Kinsley. I almost lost you and them in minute I never want to experience that feeling again. Now I have to drive in NY traffic on a Tuesday afternoon at lunch hour with two babies in the back seat." he said 

She looked down "I'm sorry." she said 

He looked over at her and said "I'm sorry Kinsley I shouldn't of snapped at you like that. I just wish you had listen to me and the doctor that's all. Maybe I wouldn't be so scared to drive them home right now." as he focused on the road. 

"There's always next time I'm not oppose to more kids that is why I didn't want to get my tubes tied." she said

"I know baby." he said 

They finally pulled up in front of their brownstone then pulled into the driveway. "Alright girls we are home." Bucky whispered as he got Summer's car seat since it was behind his and Kinsley got Skye's carseat since it was behind her seat. 

She got the diaper bag out and then Bucky grabbed her hand then he kissed her "I love you baby.." he said 

"I love you too." she said 

Then they walked up their front porch stairs then went inside. "Welcome home girls" Kinsley said as they went into the living room. 

"And welcome to your crazy family." Bucky said as all the grandparents and aunts and uncles were in their living room. 

Everyone started to come over "Wait.." Bucky said 

He sat down Summer and got in the diaper bag and pulled the big bottle of germ x and said "Nobody touches the girls till they had this." 

Kinsley rolled her eyes Jason said "Kinsley don't you dare roll your eyes. I was the same way when your brothers were born and you. And when your half siblings were born. " 

"Okay so its a daddy thing then cause the man was scared to death to drive home." she said as she looked around the room. 

She looked down and shook her head. "Kinsley.." Bucky said 

"I need a minute." she said 

"Baby.." he said as he went up the stairs after her. 

He found her crying in their bathroom "Shh baby nobody said you were being a bad mom.." he said as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. 

"Buck don't lie to me" she said as she looked at him. 

He tucked some red hair behind her ear "Baby I never said you didn't care or worry. You are a good mom I know you are because I know how hard you tried to get milk pumped out cause you wanted to breast feed and I saw you struggle to get them to latch. Just because you weren't paranoid about driving home doesn't make you a bad mom. I love you Kinsley don't beat yourself up." he said as he rested his forehead against hers. 

"You promise " she said 

"I promise baby you have mama instincts in there now let's go back downstairs and enjoy our girls with our family and I'll try and refrain from being so paranoid." he said 

"Okay." she said 

They went back downstairs and saw Winnie and Ashton with the girls. 

Abigail came in and said "Hey um Josh has the kids I just wanted to come see the girls." 

"Grandma's have them" Kinsley said 

Everyone took their turns and Jason came over to them "You made me two adorable grand daughters um by the way do you have time to come down at the end of July." he said 

"Um I think so why?' she said 

"They are throwing me a retirement party if you all would like to come." Jason said 

She looked at Bucky "I think we could work something out I would love to see my brother anyways." he said 

"Wait..your brother.. Oliver Barnes is your brother.." Jason said

"Yup.. he's my oldest brother." he said 

"How did you not join?' Jason said

"Because my boy here chose football over military" James said as he rubbed Bucky's shoulders 

"But dad..if I didn't I would have never met Kinsley so it 'all worked out in the end." he said as he kissed the side of her head.

"You might have..Kinsley orginally was going to chose UGA and move back to Georgia after high school graduation which would have put her back at Fort Benning." Jason said 

For the first few days of being home everyone came in and went to visit with the girls and them. They were in the shower he smiled at her "What's that smile for.." she said 

He kissed her then he put her against the shower wall "James.." she whispered then he started to thrust up into her.

"Oh god " she whispered as she felt her toes curl 

"Yeah baby..oh fuck yes.." he whispered as he felt her clench. 

She felt him coat her walls "Oh James what are you doing.." she whispered 

"Fucking my wife till we have another baby mmm " he whispered

"Baby..we just brought home the girls tthey  are almost two months old." she said

"So..my mama had me and Bryson a year apart." he said 

She looked at him and shook her head "You are lucky you are cute." she said

He smiled at her "Love you baby." he said
