Tuseday Morning
"Sarah get your lazy arse outta bed! It's time for school!" My mom yelled up the stairs.
"I'm up!" I yelled as I rolled out of bed.
I shuffled over to my bathroom and took a quick shower. I'm late. Again. I didn't want to get up, maybe because I dont see why the last day of school is important. It's just a bunch of tears and annoying teachers. I dried myself and brushed through my brunette hair, possibly pulling some out in the process. My blue eyes were foggy and clouded. They never change anymore because I'm never as happy.
I'm happy with my mom and sister, but ever since my dad died, It's been hard. Dont get me wrong, I hated that man, but my sister loved him and now she's sad. It hurts me to see her so upset. Actually, that's an under-statement, It KILLS me to see her so upset.
"Sarah?" Amy's soft, sad voice spoke through the door.
"Come in A." I said.
She walked into my green room and sat on my bed. I looked over and smiled at my little sister. She has strawberry red hair, dark blue eyes, freckles across her nose, and soft pink lips. She's only ten years old and our dad died when she was nine. When he died, I felt a sense of relief, but Amy felt a pain.
My dad did alot of things to me, and he would've done them to Amy to, but I always protected her. I took her beatings and all the punishments. I did it all because I wanted her to have a good memories.
"Mom says you need to hurry up. We're leaving now." Amy said jumping up.
She walked over and started to drag me outta the room. I applied some masscara and grabbed my bag before we were out the door and in the car. The ride to school was really quiet, so I ended up putting my headphones in. My mom stopped the car and I walked into the most boring day of my life. My locker was already empty, so I just went to first class. The day went on and I talked to Cailyn some, but she left early for her trip. She gets to go to Europe for the summer, and I get to stay here. In the great city of Los Angeles. I hate it here.
At the end of the day I had to walk home in the rain. The drops pounded on the side walk all around me and thunder clapped above me. It decided to storm on the day I had to walk home. My clothes are soaked and sticking to me. My jean shorts rubbing the inside of my thighs raw and my white shirt is see through now. I walked to my front door and unlocked it.
My mom won't be home for a couple days and I'm in charge of Amy for awhile. I walked into the living room and saw her sitting on the leather couch. She looked up from the TV and smiled at me, which I returned with a hug.
"Ya hungry Abug? I asked her, using her nickname.
"Yeah! What are we having!?" She siad excitedly and jumped up from the couch.
I grabbed her hand and threw my bacpack on the couch, "Lets order pizza?" I suggested as we walked to the kitchen.
She nodded her head yes and hugged me. The kitchen is small, but it works. Our phone is hung on the wall next to the fridge, so I walked up and ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. Once I was finished ordering, I scooped Amy up in my arms and carried her into the living room. We sat on the couch and watched the TV for about an hour, but a knock on the door made her jump up and squeal. I laughed and walked to the front of the house. The money I had set out was enough to pay the pizza guy, so I opened the door to reveal a young boy.
He had blonde hair and light green eyes. I smiled. He smiled back and reached into the bag to get our food. I waited patiently to grab it and handed him the money.
"Keep the change.' I told him. He smiled a toothy smile and walked back down the sidewalk.
I turned on my heels with the pizza and headed toward the kitchen.
