Chapter 21
I frowned at him, not bothering to cover up. I walked over to the small dresser that held my few close, grabbed some sweats and a shirt, and walked back into the bathroom. Luckily, I had put my phone on the bathroom counter.
I grabbed it, deciding to send a quick text to the one perosn who knew about what Lou has done to me. Nothing physically, but everything emotionally.
To: Hazza
From: Sarah
Lou's in my room. Please come help me?
I sent the message. He replied almost instantly.
To: Sarah
From: Hazza
Be there in 5.
I spent the next few minutes slowly putting my clothes on, brushing through my hair, and brushing my teeth. I didn't bother with makeup, but I did stand in the bathroom until I heard Harry's voice in my room.
"What are you doing here Haz?" I heard Louis ask.
Harry didn't respond, or I didn't hear his response. My heart skipped a beat when someone knocked on the bathroom door. Apparently, I wasn't paying any attention. I unlocked the door and slowly inched it open.
My eyes instantly met emerald ones and I sighed in relief. Harry grabbed my hand and softly pulled me out of the bathroom. He understood that I felt like I was being led on. I mean, one mintue Lou is telling me he loves me, the next he's saying that his girlfriend is staying with him.
Of course, it doesn't help that everything with my sister is happening at the same time. I've got life problems already I don't really need guy problems on top of that. The universe is out to get me I guess.
"Listen Lou, this is probably gonna make you feel bad; but it needs to be said. This thing you're doing,"He waved his arm around, "It's not heping Sarah at all. She doesn't know how yoe actually feel, hell I don't even know! What I do know, is that you need to make up your mind. Sarah doesn't need guy drama on top of life's drama." Harry lectured.
Louis didn't meet my eyes while Harry spoke, he just looked down at his hands. I could tell that every word made him feel guilty, but it needed to be said. I only wish I could've been the one to say it. Instead of speaking up, I too stared down at the floor.
An uncomfortable silence settled in the room. When no one spoke, I looked up. Louis was still looking at his feet, but he had wrapped his arms around him, almost like he was hugging himself. I took this time, to really look at him.
When he first got here, I didn't take in his apperance. Now that I look at him, it's something I should've done. His hair was ruffled and sticking up in different directions. His normal jeans, had been replaced with grey sweats and his shirt a plain white T-shirt.
I couldn't see his face, but overall he just looked unsure of himself. I has to bite my tongue to keep from gasping when he looked up. His face was so.....sad.
Tear tracks were visible, being trailed down by fresh tears. His eyes were bloodshot and dark lines were visible underneath of them. His cheeks were tinted pink along with the tip of his nose. His teeth were chattering faintly.
I noticed his lip quivering, like he was about to cry. Harry seemed just as surprised as I was. Obviousliy, neither of us were expecting to see Lou so broken. Louis opened his mouth to speak, but the only thing that came out was a choked sob.
