"Daddy what are you reading?" A small child asked, her arms reaching out towards a red diary her father had been reading.
"N-nothing..." the man mumbled as he returned the diary to it's rightful place in his wardrobe.
"What are you doing up?" He asked as he picked his daughter up, placing her on his lap in the process.
His daughter giggled as she placed a kiss on her father's cheek. Her eyes formed a half crescent shape as she awaited her father's response.
"Would you like to hear a bedtime story?" He asked as his daughter frantically nodded her head.
