Chapter 21: Who Are You?

"Oppa what are you doing" Ji Yeon asked in fear as she tried to pull Jin's arms off of Jinsoo.

"Say it again. Who are you living with?" Jin spat as Jinsoo squirmed in his grasp.

Jinsoo had never seen another man besides Namjoon and Hoseok so he was excited to meet Jin, but that excitement soon turned to fear as Jin's eyes seem to pierce through his own.

"OPPA" Ji Yeon screamed, causing Jin to wake from his trance-like state. He glanced down at the small boy struggling in his grasp and gasped in shock. He didn't know what came over him at that moment, but he knew he messed up.

"I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you" Jin mumbled as he released his hands from the boys collar.

"Why did you attack me?" The boy asked, curiosity getting the best of him as something in him seemed to automatically be drawn to Jin.

"That name... There was someone I once knew who had the same name... I've been looking for him all this time because he is sure to have taken the only woman I have ever loved" Jin's voice seemed to crack as he said those words aloud.

"Someone you loved?" Ji Yeon asked as she wondered who else he could have loved besides her. Ever since she was born, Jin was the only man she trusted other than her father and seeing him sad made her heart ache. Jungkook would always visit them and play with her too, but he was always too competitive and made her cry. She didn't like or trust him too well.

"Yes... she was someone I loved dearly for many years... She went missing a few years ago and two men named Hoseok and Namjoon have also gone missing. I've been trying to find them since then, but they vanished without a trace" Jin mumbled in an almost inaudible tone causing the two children besides him to give eachother troubled glances.

"What was the woman's name" Jinsoo asked as he tried to piece the pieces together.

"Her name was EunSoo and she was pregnant. The father of the child wasn't Hoseok or Namjoon, but I know they must have taken her somewhere" Jin continued as he glanced up towards the cave's ceiling wondering just why he was revealing everything to the two children before him.

Even though he had barely turned four, Jinsoo along with Ji Yeon possessed the intelligence of an adult. For Jinsoo, it was easy to put the pieces of the puzzle back into place and figure out that the woman Jin was talking about was actually his mother. He never trusted Namjoon or Hoseok and this was the proof that he wanted.

"Hey mister, you should meet my mom" Jinsoo exclaimed as he stood up.

"Your mom?" Jin asked, clearly perplexed at what the young boy before him was saying.

"Ji Yeon Noona, you should go back they must be looking for you. I'll take this man to see my mother!" Jinsoo explain as he grabbed Jin's arm and dragged him out the cave.

Within seconds Jin and Jinsoo were at Hoseok's house hidden deep in the woods.

"Jinsoo-ah? Where are you?" EunSoo called as she frantically searched for her son. Jin's eyes widened in shock as he watched EunSoo. She didn't change much after all those years, if anything she had gotten even more beautiful.

"EunSoo..." Jin whispered as he unconsciously started to approach her only to be stopped by Jinsoo who had latched onto his arms.

"What are you doing?" Jin hissed as he tried to pull free from the little boy's grip.

"You can't! If you go now mom will get scared! She barely knows who she is! Mom lost her memories and doesn't even know who my father is! If you take her away now she may run away again... she only trusts Namjoon and the man who's pretending to be my father. Please don't do anything for now" Jinsoo pleaded as he loosened his grip on his real father.
