Izuku giggled as he watched the two students' struggling. It was obvious what Stain's, (as he learned by the villains loud proclamations,) quirk was. He wasn't exactly subtle about it either. Midoriya watched as Iida's blood was spilled once again, thoughts beginning to drift. Specifically, to Endeavor's son.

Izuku knew of the power he wielded, and could remember his rather icy personality, but nothing else came to mind. Surely they would have interacted more, given they were in the same class? He brushed the thoughts aside; they didn't matter.

He refocused on the battle below him for distraction. Stain was now balancing on the wall of the building Izuku sat on top of, Iida charging upwards, ice on his engines. This fight would be over soon. Midoriya stood, knowing that a certain aspiring hero would see him. And, sure enough, as he shot flames towards Stain, Todoroki's eyes widened the moment they met his. It was almost too perfect. Midoriya waved mockingly at the other boy.

He took a few steps back before quickly bounding forward to the edge, using a bit of his quirk as he leapt over the alley below him. Landing in a crouch, Izuku could feel a wide grin spread over his face. It was certainly a change of pace from his daily training.

Midoriya whipped his head to the side at the sound of several people, likely heroes, approaching. Slowly he crept towards the edge of the building, his curiosity far too persistent to ignore. Looking down, he found that he'd been right. Several heroes of varying statuses stood there, Stain bound and unconscious at their feet. Midoriya watched as the two students seemed to be thoroughly chewed out for running off. He couldn't help it; he laughed. Snorted, more accurately. Loudly.

The shorter old man's head shot in Izuku's direction, eyes narrowing when he saw him. In a matter of seconds, the man was shooting up towards Midoriya. Quickly, he jumped back from the edge in anticipation at what the confrontation with the hero could mean.

"Who are you?" The old man demanded upon landing.

"That's not very polite," Midoriya responded with a pout. The old man grunted, obviously not amused. "You're supposed to say 'hello' first." He clarified with a roll of his eyes.

"What are you doing up here? Are you involved with Stain?" Midoriya could hear a commotion coming from below, demands coming from Stain. But what Midoriya really cared about was a strange garbled noise that could only come from a mutant creature. Also known as a Nomu. With a smirk, Midoriya ran towards the noise, jumping from the roof when he saw it flying just beneath him.

He landed with rather ungraceful "oof," shifting to see the heroes behind him. Unfortunately, he was met with the sight of some rather familiar fire being sent towards the Nomu. Inwardly, he groaned. He really didn't want to have to run all the way back to Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

However, the fire struck true, hitting the Nomu directly. Izuku jumped ship, grabbing onto a nearby lamp post, quickly rocking himself on top of it. Though, it wasn't the most subtle of things, as all of the heroes (both pros and students) were now staring at him. The old man was now back on the ground, seeming just as frustrated as he was before.

"Who are you?" Endeavor grunted, his arms crossed. Midoriya, however, didn't respond, too caught up in his surroundings. Stain, who had likely been the cause of the commotion he'd heard moments ago, was lying face down on the ground, unmoving. Clearly, he was dead. Did the heroes not realize? Did they simply not care? Izuku could feel anger welling in his chest. How dare they? How could they possibly consider themselves heroes when there was a corpse there, and no one was doing anything about it?!

"I said," the hero growled now, "who are you?" Endeavor's beard flared with his words.

"Is that really what you care about?" Midoriya demanded, voice dropping in anger. The hero growled again, anger flaring further. Izuku, however, couldn't care any less. His own rage masked that of anyone else.

"You're testing my patience, now tell me who you are! Are you in league with the Hero Killer?!"

"No," he spat, "but I'm about to become one." He moved to lunge at the self centered bastard that called himself a hero, but his arm was caught by a familiar black portal. "Kurogiri!"

"It is time to leave," was all he said, eyes serious as ever. Midoriya sighed in frustration, glaring one last time at Endeavor, ignoring the others completely.

"The Hero Killer is dead. Makes room for another, wouldn't you agree?" He stepped through the portal, feeling his hatred grow with every passing moment.

Todoroki sat impatiently in his hospital bed, resisting the urge to tap in his frustration. Following him and Iida being scolded for confronting Stain, Todoroki had all but demanded to see All Might. Unfortunately, he and Iida were not yet allowed to leave the hospital, so he had been forced to wait. Though, at least Gran Torino had taken him seriously. Small mercies, he supposed.

Finally, after several hours of waiting in a tense silence, the room door opened, All Might (quite literally) filling its frame.

"Todoroki, my boy, you asked for me?" He asked in his usual booming voice.

"Are you helping in the search for Midoriya?" Todoroki asked bluntly, the affect of having had his thought and questions cooped up for so long.

"Young Todoroki, you know that I cannot reveal such information-"

"So you are," he cut him off, seeing the sweat build on his forehead. "I have information." All Might stiffened at his words, though it was rather expected. It was obvious that the hero had a soft spot for Midoriya. "Midoriya was here, tonight. And there is reason to believe that the League of Villains were the ones who captured him."

A/n: Thank you guys so much for reading! Be sure to comment what you think, and any faults you may have found.

I just wanted to say, in case anyone's confused, that most of these chapters will be from two POVs; Todoroki's and Midoriya's.

Thanks again for reading, hope you enjoy!
