The city sped along the normal routine of life, and Jaslo felt very uneasy about it. She was anything but normal, in a city full of normal cars, and the only vehicle she knew was by her side and a mute Nissan at that. Still, nobody bothered with the odd Blazer, and somehow it was still getting to her. Nick didn't bother to ask, he just kept driving as Jaslo followed him through the city. This was not training, this was the first day of life, and she had no idea how to do that in such short time.
"You remember what we talked about, yes?" Nick's transmitter sounded, pulling the Blazer's attention back onto him as they turned off the main roads. Jaslo only nodded, almost forgetting to signal as she turned with him.
"Good, if you need anything, I will be close by, alright?" Nick slowed to a stop in front of a large building, Jaslo pulling up beside him. She struggled to read the foreign language on the walls, but she was still picking it up rather quickly.
"Police Academy? You sure about this?" she asked, obviously nervous about this whole idea. Nick looked over to her with a smile, his transmitter only blinking. Jaslo just sighed and looked to the doors as Nick pushed a folder to her tire. They had been working on this for weeks, and luckily they were wrong about Mago's arrival, as it gave them more time to prepare for a more normal life. Jaslo had been thrown into speed learning a lot of things, but it sure beat fighting for food in that horrid complex.
"Remember what I taught you, and you will be fine, alright?" Nick patted her side with a tire, and she picked up the folder before driving towards the large doors. The only knowledge she had was whatever she was able to get from the vehicles that taught her, and even then there were a lot of things she didn't know.
"Alright cadets! Grab your training gear and let's GO!" Jaslo was one of the first to go and grab the gear before bolting with the others to the track outside. Nick was wrong, so very wrong! She couldn't leave and this was turning out to be more like the Lab than anything else. Thankfully, she seemed to be doing well within the training, it wasn't nearly as bad as the lab itself. Or at least that's what she thought, since all the Officers training them didn't seem to correct her much. They seemed to only ask if she could change contacts, which was something Nick never spoke to her of, but she just kept saying no. What was wrong with her eyes? Didn't other cars have slit pupils that could fight? It had been many days, and she was growing used to all this, even as she sped around the track in the middle of the group, skidding through corners and lunging over various obstacles.
"Blazer! Faster!" The Officer barked, Jaslo obeying without a word. She only thought about what Nick had told her, to not use her full engine power out here. She still didn't know why, but if he told her not to do it, then it must be for a good reason. Between reading books and filling out papers every night and driving this track every morning, she couldn't really concentrate on why they picked on her for the smallest things. It was just so odd, why did Nick even bring her here in the first place?
