Who are you?

Chapter 7- Waking up

I was surrounded by thick smoke. My eyes gave up right after my lungs. The last thing I remembered was demon like flames, dangerously close to my face. My body was completely numb. I couldn't see or hear anything. 

The only thing I could feel was the vibration of my heartbeat. It was the only thing that made me believe I was still alive. I felt as if I by every heartbeat, slowly faded further away from reality. 

As I was floating away, sinking deeper into my sea of emotions, I felt something. It was warm and somehow desperate. I was slowly being pulled out of the sea of nothing. The further I came from the sea the hotter it got.  

The feeling in my body was returning, along with a blazing heat. My eyes shot open.

 I was facing a burning demon.

Flames were covering his body, from head to toe. Sparks were flying around him like little servants. 

But the thing that really stood out was his eyes. They were shining with determination and power. Our eyes met and they suddenly turned into little half moons. My jaw almost hit the ground when I realized.

" Jimin?"

His smile grew even wider as he nodded. 

"You sure took your time waking up"

I quickly pinched my nose.

" Ouch!" It was real, I wasn't dreaming this time.

 He was really here!

"What are you doing ?" His teeth were showing when he laughed.

"Just checking" I smiled. 

Suddenly it hit me, 

Why was he on fire?!

"Jimin, what happened?" His smile faded and left him with a serious expression.

"I-I you see...I kind of made a deal with someone to be here...."

"Well...that doesn't explain the fire" My stomach was turning and starting to hurt. I had a bad feeling about this. 

"The fire was a necessity for being able to reach you" 

"How much time do you think we have this time?" It didn't matter if this was the real life or not, we always got separated. His eyes turned into little half moons again as he smiled. 

"As a part of the deal...I get to stay" I could feel my heart rise. 

" Are you serious!?" I couldn't believe it.

 It was waaay too good to be true.

Even tho I knew something didn't feel right, I couldn't help but smile. He was really gonna stay this time.

"Jimin?"

"yes?" He was smiling even wider than before.

"How can you hold me right now? I mean you are on fire"

He laughed a little before putting me down. 

"Don't worry about that... seriously...I can control it" 

I didn't doubt that he could control it...

But...

Where did he get that power from in the first place?
