the boys and I lazed around for the final day before they had to start schedules for their next comeback. it was D-Day and they all left the dorms and set off to work.
I didn't want to bother them during their recording time so I just stayed home. I haven't even been here too long but I already missed the buzz that came from the boys when they were around.
my phone dinged from where I'd left it on the couch. As soon as I unlocked my screen, a message from my best friend, Mia appeared! I decided to fill her in on everything that happened with Yugyeom yesterday and she flipped out.
I messaged her for a while until she had to go so I channel surfed for a while before finding something remotely interesting to keep me entertained for a while. — I didn't realise that it'd be this boring by myself, I had nothing to do so I went back upstairs to make sure I was fully unpacked. After working on that for a while, I must have crashed because I woke up to my phone buzzing again. this time it was from a group chat that I'm guessing Jackson had made with the eight of us in it.

I went back downstairs and took my old position back on the couch when I got another message.

the boys burst through the door a short while later with a few boxes of pizza
"hazel, I hope your hungry!"
Jackson's voice came from the next room.
They all came in and found a seat, then we all began eating.
"So, how did it go today?"
I asked, genuinely excited to hear about everything. I beamed while getting told every detail and event that occurred when I saw Yugyeom start typing on his phone out the corner of my eye.

I looked down at the notification and smiled at the message and looked back up to see a few pairs of eyes on me. Jinyoung glanced over to Yugyeom before smiling back at me. Jackson looked at me with a look of slight confusion on his face.
"oh, it's just Mia, my friend back home. I was messaging her today"
I said slightly stuttering while trying to secretly put my phone on silent. Jackson nodded and continued on with his story.
I shot a glance over at Yugyeom and looked back down to unlock my phone.
