Confrontation

We've been living with Natsu for about a month now. My old is house is empty and everything has been sold. It took a little getting used to but I'm happy we moved in together. I'm still going to school and he is still teaching. My kids still go to their school but have actually been doing a lot better thanks to Natsu helping them with whatever they don't understand. I was never good at explaining stuff and my husband didn't understand anything, he can hardly even read! Imagine Natsu's face when I told him about that. It was priceless!

I've been watching everyone and I'm amazed to say that we look like one big happy family. We've all gotten used to each other and have grown to love each other more and more. I think the girls see him as more of a big brother than a father figure but that's ok. It's not like he is their dad.

I had just gotten home when my phone rang. I take it out and look at it and see it's my soon-to-be ex husband calling. I sigh and answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby how you been?" He greets me

"I'm not your baby anymore. What do you want?!" I snap at him

"Ouch. I just wanted to see what happened. I stopped by the house and there's no answer."

"That's because we moved out. Can't afford it anymore now that your gone." I say flatly

"Oh so you need me? I'll be happy to take you back." He says cockily.

"Ha! No thanks! I'm still divorcing you and there is a restraining order in place. Look I have your stuff I'll be happy to give it to you but we have to arrange a meeting."

"Alright."

"I'll call and arrange for police to be there since there's a restraining order. Where are you staying and how did you get out of jail?!"

"With my sister and she bailed me out."

"Of course. I'll arrange it for tomorrow after school. Ok?"

"Alright. See you then. Love you."

"Whatever. Bye." I say and hang up.

I help the girls with their homework and then Natsu gets home. With all of us together I decide to tell them about tomorrow.

"Guys. I have something to say." Everyone stops and looks at me.

"We will be meeting with your daddy tomorrow to give him his stuff. Your auntie bailed him out of jail. So tomorrow after school, be prepared." I say with a sigh while looking at the girls. I look to Natsu and he looks surprised.

"Natsu. I'd like for you to be with us please. I don't think I can face him alone." I say sadly.

He smiles softly and says "I'll be there."

"Thank you." I reply with a small smile. "I've already called for the police to meet us there in case something happens. They should be there by 4:30." I tell him and he nods.

"Girls. This could be the last time you see your dad for a while. Think now if you want to greet him or hug him or anything like that. You won't be forced to do anything if you don't want to. You can stay in the car and ignore him if you wish." I tell them and they nod.

The next day Natsu told his boss he needed to leave a little early to handle some business and they allowed him to leave early. We went home and packed up all of my husbands things and loaded them into my car. We drove to his sisters house and the police were already there and my husband was outside. I took a deep breath and exited the car. He looked over and smiled then frowned when he saw Natsu in the drivers seat. I was to shaky to drive so I let Natsu drive.
