it was finally the day I've been looking forward to. it was the day i take kaylee out on a date. no, nothing fancy. at least yet. I'm not so sure how she feels about fancy dates. but this one was simple yet romantic. i got up and changed into some black jeans with rips at the knees and a plain white t-shirt. i put on my socks and shoes then headed out the door to pick up kaylee. i drove down the road preparing myself.

my plan was to take her on a ride to this place where they were showing a movie, "The Nightmare Before Christmas," i would have snacks prepared and then I'd take her somewhere else. and this is where amanda helps out. around 30 minutes left of the movie amanda would start to set up the second part. she would lay down a big blanket with four candles lit at each edge. this place was right at a lake. amanda would do whatever she'd need to do to help me out. I pull up to kaylee's hotel and she was wearing an oversized black why don't we hoodie with light gray ripped jeans. And she had tied her hair up in a nice messy bun. she looked cute.

"ready?" i ask her and smile as i watch her get in and buckle her seatbelt.

"yup!" she says popping the 'p'

i drive away from the hotel and hold kaylee's hand. we both were listening to some songs on the drive there and occasionally she'd film me and put it on her instagram story. we soon arrived just as the movie was starting.

"awees corb!" she giggle and snuggles up in her seat. i grab a box of her favorite cookies and a blanket. her smile grows bigger and she gives my hand a tight squeeze.

we finished the movie and drove to the lake. kaylee seemed to be having a good time so far which is good. now it all leads up to this. I really don't know how she's going to react. like at all. im really worried cause we've only known each other for two months. I then start to worry and panick if I'm moving too fast. I park my car and get out. i quickly run to the other side and open kaylee's door for her. she smiles and gets out with her cookies and blanket. i hold her hand and we walk down to the spot. when she sees it she smiles and hugs me.

"you're the best corbyn," she says and lets go. i smile as i watch her run down the hill to the spot. i walk down slowly and approach her. she giggles and i hold both of her hands.

"kaylee mae seavey, you are one special girl. you seem to always lift my spirits and bring happiness to everyone in the room. your bright smile shines brighter than anyone's future. you're perfect. your features and everything,"

"kaylee mae, will you be my girlfriend?"
