i was driving the girls back home from the airport. in all honesty, I didn't care what they were doing unless they broke something. i just kept my eyes on the road and gave them the aux to make them happy. from the back of my car i hear one of them say,

"so if mars is boiling hot, how the fucking hell do people find acres of FROZEN water on it??" kaylee gasped.

"steph you're right. how the fuck?" kaylee says out of confusion. i laugh and give her hand a tight squeeze. okay, yes we were still holding hands. she didn't let go and nor did i. i just don't know if what she said the other day was true. is she using me..?

no. no, corbyn don't think like that. kaylee isn't like that. she's an amazing girl with a bright beautiful smile. her features tell it all. she's a perfect person and she is the one. i just can't wait to see how the picnic date goes. amanda and i put so much hard work into that, i was only asking amanda, cause well. shes a girl and she would know how kaylee would want to be treated.

again, I didn't know amanda and kaylee had a brawl, if i did I wouldn't have asked amanda, like at all. i always saw amanda as nothing more than friends. i never liked her and I don't think she has ever liked me.

we arrive at the house and the girls leave the car. i let go of kaylee's hand and leave too while she does the same. "damn, kid. you made it," Leah, I think says. i laugh and open the door. kaylee decides to show them around while i go upstairs to change into a bathing suit. i quickly change and head for the backyard. i dive into the pool creating a huge splash. it felt nice for a day like this. i relax for a bit until i hear kaylee, steph, and leah coming into the backyard talking out stuff. kaylee leaves steph and leah and comes over to the pool.

"well hey corb!" she says smiling dipping her feet in by the pool.

"well hey there kay," I say smiling and swimming towards her. "You should come in," i say putting my hand on her leg.

"my bathing suit isn't here silly!" she giggles.

"actually, you left it here the other night while we went swimming. it's in my closet hanging up," i say. she sighs.

"okay fine, for you bean." she smiles and stands up.

kaylee comes back outside dressed in her black & white striped bikini. she laughs as she sees me eye her up and down. she giggles and steps into the pool slowly. she jerks her foot back from the cold water.

"oh c'mon! its not THAT cold!" i laugh.

"okay fine." she huffs and walks right off the edge into the pool creating a splash. "that's my girl!" i shout swimming towards her. we both start to talk to each other and get to know each other more. we ended up talking for hours without realizing.

"corb, it's getting dark. we should go in," kaylee smiles. i sigh and frown.

"you're right. that was fun kaylee. i enjoy talking with you," I smile and get out of the pool with her following close behind. she then hits my arm. "ow! what was that for?"

" for being so cheesy," she giggles as i wrap her in a towel. we soon end up being wrapped in the same towel with our bodies touching. i look her in the face and start to lean in as she does the same.

"hey! get a room!" i heard zach yell. dammit, he ruined my chance. she giggles and looks back at me.

"i love you corbyn,"

"i love you kaylee mae,"
