Just Like Prom

It was 10pm. Charles was asleep so Alice and FP had some alone time. They sat on the couch and Alice had her head in his shoulder. Their fingers were intertwined and they were enjoying the silence.

"Do you remember our prom?" FP said as he saw the picture of him and Alice.

"Of course I do, silly." She giggled.

FP's smile grew wide at her giggles.

•••FLASHBACK•••

It was a very special evening for Alice, FP, Hermione, Fred and the rest of their year. It was prom night.

Alice and her Mom went shopping a few weeks ago to get Alice a dress for prom.
Alice opened her closet and took the dress out. She was so excited for prom.

She put her dress on. It was a long, baby pink dress which fell like a waterfall. Her shoes were white high heels. She had hair extensions which were 15 cm (5,9 inches) longer than her actually was. Her hair was open and had beautiful curls in it. Her makeup was decent but beautiful. She had a nude shade in her crease and golden glitter on her lid. Her lips had a natural nude gloss on. She also wore a silver 3-layer necklace, silver jewelry earrings and had a silver handbag.

She was ready when she heard a knock at her door.

"Come in!" She shouted.

The door opened and her mom came in.

"You ready, sweetie? FP is there." Her mother said.

Alice didn't even hear FP coming in.
"Yeah, I guess I am." She answered.

Her mother went down stairs followed by Alice. She saw FP and had the most gorgeous smile on her face.

FP stares at her in awe as she came down the stairs.

"You look so beautiful." He said to her.
He took her hand and placed a kiss on it.

"You got very lucky, honey." Her mother said as she saw how FP is treating her.

Alice's father taped everything but FP didn't care. He was treating her like she's a goddess. And in his eyes she was.

Alice gave her mom a big smile and they head out to go to their school.

FP picked her up and put her on his motorcycle because she had a little trouble getting on it since her dress was so long. He gave Alice her helmet and he got on his motorcycle too. She wrapped her arms around his waist and they drove off.

They arrived at school and were met by Fred and Hermione. The four of them walked inside. As soon as they were on the dance floor FP and Fred got called up to the stage because their band 'The Fred Heads' was signed to play some songs.

Alice stared at FP in awe as he was playing the guitar. She was so in love with him.

Alice and Hermione rocked the dance floor and had the most fun of all people there.

After a few songs they went off of the stage and got to Alice and Hermione.

"I'm so proud of you, baby." Alice said to FP. Then she gave him a long, soft kiss.

Hermione smiled at the two. Of course she was proud of Fred too. He knew what she wanted to say to him but instead of letting her speak he pulled her into a kiss.

Alice and FP and Fred and Hermione are literally the happiest couples anyone ever saw.

Half an hour went by and the host, Mrs. Ringford, their English teacher, went onto the stage to make an announcement.
"It's now time to crown your king and queen."

Everyone got quiet.

"Prom king and queen are..."

She was known for making things exciting.

"FP and Alice Jones!"

Alice looked over to Hermione and Fred smiling because she knew they signed them two as 'Jones'. Alice loved the fact her last name actually could be 'Jones' one day.

They went up on the stage and got crowned. They smiled at each other and FP pulled her into a kiss. The kiss wasn't short. It was a little longer and passionate. But not too long though. The crowd cheered as they kissed. Mrs. Ringford had a huge smile on her face.

They got back down onto the dance floor. Now, it was time for the slow dance.
Alice put her arms around his neck and he put his hands on her waist.

They stared into each other's eyes and swayed to the music. The song was 'Everything I do (I do it for you)" by Bryan Adams. It wasn't the prefect song for a slow dance but no one really cared.

It was the end of the song.

"I love you, FP." She said to him.

"I love you too, Al."

They smiled and she pulled him into a kiss.

•••PRESENT DAY•••

"It was the first time you told me you loved me." She said smiling at him.

"I know. And I meant every word I said to you that night.

"And the cutest thing was before we drove home you gave me your jacket because I was cold. You were such a gentleman back then." She said laughing.

"Hey, I still am!" He said joining her laughing.

"That's what you think." She said smirking.

"Oh, just shut up." FP said looking at her with heart eyes.

Alice gasped.

"We are in a moment."

"Are we?" Alice asked knowing they were.

She pulled him into a long, passionate kiss. Just like prom.
