Third Person POV
Ellie was frozen in shock. She was speechless. Emilio was awake and smiling at her. Ellie suddenly realized how amazing this was and laughed with excitement. Just as she was about to talk to him, about 5 doctors and nurses ran into the room. One of them rudely stood right infront of Ellie. They shot out about a million questions at Emilio. "What is your name?" "Where are you?" "Do you remember anything?"

Emilio sat there dumbfounded, he had no clue of what the hell was happening. He's woken up a couple of times in hospital from a night before, but he has no clue that he's been out for 4 months. The sudden loud noises made his face scrunch up in pain. Suddenly another doctor stepped into the room calmly and started shushing the others, Lucy following behind him.

"Excuse me" he said once the room was in peace. This doctor must be higher up than the other ones. Ellie noticed that the group of doctors who came in at first all had the same uniform as Lucy. This means they're all nurses, none of them are actual doctors. Ellie mentally slapped herself for not noticing that at first, if she did she would've told them to leave.

The doctor asked the nurses to leave quietly, which they did. Ellie saw this doctor sometimes when she came to visit. She rarely spoke to him as he was always busy and focused. He seemed nice. The doctor, who's name is Dr. Smith, walked over to Emilio and smiled.

"Well hello to you Emilio, how are you feeling?" He asked his patient. Emilio licked his chapped lips and started speaking for the first time in 4 months. "I guess, I feel okay, I can't remember what I did last night though" he smiled. His words came out as raspy as ever, his voice cracking as if he had hit puberty for the second time in his life.

"Lucy, could you please get this boy a cup of water?" Dr Smith said. She nodded and quickly went out the door. Dr Smith continued talking to Emilio.

"I'm not surprised that you don't remember last night, but do you remember what happened 4 months ago?" Emilio swallowed and furrowed his eyebrows. "Why that time?"

"This might come as a shock to you... You were in a fatal car crash. You're lucky to be alive. For the last 4 months you have been in a coma" Emilio's eyes widened as the words hit his eardrums. He looked over at Ellie to see if he was joking. She sadly gave him a smile then shamefully looked down at her lap. Emilio glanced back at the doctor. "Wow.. really? How did it happen? Ellie, were you in the car with me?" He asked nervously. During this Lucy had come back with the water.

Dr Smith interrupted before Ellie could give an answer. He was informed at the beginning of this about the cause of what set Emilio off, he didn't want Emilio to get overwhelmed after just gaining consciousness. "It's best you find that out later. For now I'll just let you relax and catch up with your beautiful girlfriend, she's been in nearly everyday visiting you" Ellie held back a smile and blushed. The doctor and Lucy stood up and left.

Ellie felt a little shy towards Emilio. There was a silence in the small hospital room. "So you're my girlfriend now huh?" Emilio spoke. Ellie chuckled, "He just assumed, I never said anything. Do you want to FaceTime Ivan to show him you're awake? He's missed you terribly" Emilio nodded and tried to sit up. He was really weak and tired. Ellie carefully helped his fragile body to sit up straight. While Ellie was on her phone, he felt an urge to stretch. Halfway through his stretch he yelled and doubled over. "Oh Emilio! Be careful. You had two broken ribs, they're still healing" Emilio carefully rubbed his side while waiting for Ellie to get her phone ready.
