Dear diary,

After that drama with Buddy, I wanted to say I'm done with the dating stuff for... you know... the rest of my life but one year later, I can proudly call myself Mrs. Stephen Maxwell. I know it seems quick but going through all that I went through with the Deloitte's I've come to realize that life is too short not to enjoy genuine connections. It was hard in the beginning to trust Stephen but I do believe in destiny. Without the ordeal with Buddy, I may have never met Stephen. Buddy still sends me letters sometimes and asks fellow police officers how I'm doing. He congratulated me when I got married and apologized in every letter since. He's still in prison and will remain there for the rest of his life for torturing me, raping me and being an accessory to the murder of the other girls. Amina is known around town as the Monster-in-law. It's safe to say there weren't any attendants at her funeral. As to what happened with officer Jones, well... that's Titi's story to tell.

I do have a little secret I can share with you... I'm two months pregnant! Stephen doesn't know yet because he's been working a lot of nightshifts lately but tomorrow is his day off and I've got a special way planned to reveal this pregnancy. I hope he's as excited as I am. I'll keep you posted!
