Chapter 14: Baby Christian Russo

                           Cassie's Pov 

When we finally got to the hospital, my contractions felt as bad as my worst period cramps x 1000. How the f**k do women have more then one child... once they experience this shit, I thought, through the contractions.

The nurse came and immediately took me to triage, to access my centimeters dialated. I was currently 5cm dialated and in early stages of labor. I was admitted and taken to the delivery ward. Thirty minutes went by and Dr. Houser finally graced us with his presence. "Is it to late for an epidural? I can't take the pain. It hurts so much.... ahhhh." I screamed through painful contractions. "Lets check you first, then we can see if you are able to get an epidural," Dr. Houser said. "Cassie, I am afraid its too late you are at 6cm.With you labor progressing this fast you may have your baby in less than two hours."

Every 30 mins Dr. Houser would check me. It has been an hour and a half and I'm at 9cm. The pain is unbearable at this point. "I can't do this... I don't want to be pregnant anymore." I said while cutting off the circulation to Chad's left hand. I didn't give a f**k if I hurt him, he is the reason I'm in pain now. An hour after trying various techniques, screaming and crying it was now time to push.

"My love your doing great just hang in there," Chad said. "F**k off Chad," I said hating his damn presence. "Cassie calm down," Chad said. Your 10cm and baby is crowning, go ahead and give us a push when a contraction comes. You and baby must work together," Dr. Houser said. "Stop screaming and actually push," Chad said getting annoyed.

Dr. Houser said, "One more good push and the baby will be here!" I pushed with all the strength I could muster, I felt drained physically and emotionally. "Baby is here... It's a boy," Dr. Houser stated! They put him on my stomach and it hurt but it helps get the placenta out. Afterwards they took him to get weighed and lightly cleaned him off and put a sleeper on him. Nurse Kelly said he weighs 6lbs and 13oz. I also heard he is 19in long and born on September 25th at 6:43 pm. "My son... Cassie you truly blessed me, in more ways than one," Chad said. I was extremely tired and just wanted to hold my baby. "Whats his name," the nurse asked? I looked at Chad for the answer.  "His name is Christian Marino Russo. Hello little guy I'm your daddy," Chad said while gently holding our son and bringing him to me." I quickly grabbed him and kissed his head. "I love you so much Christian... your mommies handsome boy!"

We were released from the hospital and Chad took us home. "I want us to have our wedding in three months, at the house, what do you think," Chad asked? "It sounds good can I invite my friends and family," I asked? "As long as you behave," Chad said.

Being a mom is truly the best job I ever had. Chad is an outstanding dad, he changes diapers, feeds baby my pumped breastmilk and lets me take a break every couple of hours. "Thank you baby for taking a month off of work to stay with us," I said." Chad gave me a hug and kissed my forehead. "Anything for you two.. so your doctor appointment is tomorrow do you want me to come," he asked? "I would love it if you came. Its been alot easier adjusting when you help me," I told him.

The doctor appointment went good. Leave it to Chad to ask his uncle if I could engage in intercourse now. Like really are we sixteen, I thought. Needless to say his uncle gave me the green light. It's hard for me to believe he's older than me. Especially when he does things like this. Today my parents are coming over to meet Christian and Chad. They would have met Chad earlier but he decided to make me stay away from them. I am really thankful Chad is letting me see them.
