The girls and I each had a small backpack with stuff in it for the day. Christian led the way along the trail. About noon we reached a small river. "We can have lunch here girls. Then cross." Christian said. After lunch, I took my shoes and socks off then put them in my bag. Christian rolled his jeans up to his knees before walking to the center of the river.
He motioned for us to follow. I went first watching where I stepped. I slipped near him regaining my footing. He held out his hand for me to take as he stood on two rocks. "Step near my feet angel." He said. I did that and let him help me across the rocks. I then continued across. Across the river the girls were about to cross when Myles, Vincent, Enrique and DJ came out of the brush.
Vinny was the first one to jump into the water with Chris. Chris moved to one third away from me. Enrique and DJ joined along with Myles. All four of the girls crossed with their help. The guys then crossed one by one. Once they all were across, we put our shoes back on before continuing on.
I walked directly beside Christian. About sundown, we were back at the river. We took our shoes off once more and crossed. Then met up at the vehicles. "Who's heading where?" Myles asked. "I was planning on going back to Yale." Christian said. "Pontiac for me." DJ said. "We were going back to Detroit." Enrique said.
"Our flight leaves out of Detroit in two days." I said. "I need to see if there's some things here for an act that I need." Tess said. "Same." Two others said. "I don't think it would kill us to spend two days in Detroit." I said. "Need to wash clothes though." Dani said. I nodded. "I agree." I said.
"We can split up between the three places." Myles said. "I think I've got clothes at Vinny's." Christian said. "I can go with Christian." I said. "I can go with Jesse and stay at Vinny's place." Hailee said. "Myles' place is larger." Enrique said. "Then would you mind if I go with you?" Lani asked. Enrique scratched his neck. "I guess." He said.
"I'll bunk with Myles and two of the girls." DJ said. Tess and Dani agreed to go with them. "I'll drive myself there." Christi said. "Mind if I ride with you?" Vinny asked. "Nah." Chris said. Hailee and I took the backseat letting the guys have the front seat. About two hours later we were coming to an apartment. The girls had grabbed their bags before we started the trek.
I must have fallen asleep because I was being carried in. "Nah. Her and I can share a room if need be dude." I heard Christian whisper. I could tell he had me with one arm while he carried our bags. He stopped once before he kept walking after a door opened. I was in a dozing state since the truck stopped.
I was lowered down feeling a soft mattress below me. I stretched out just before Chris kissed my forehead. He pulled my shoes and socks off before undoing my shorts. I jumped when he did reach there. "Sorry angel. I didn't mean to wake you." He said. "I was dozing." I said. "Would you like to shower?" He asked. I nodded as I yawned.
He dug in a drawer coming back with a tee shirt. "This May be a little big. It's one I usually sleep in when here." He said. "Oh and you may want these." He said going back to the drawer. He held up a pair of underwear. "Took a guess on which size you wear." He said as he handed me the clothes. Since he got me underwear I'm going to get him some.

There was a bathroom right next to the bedroom. I went in and got a shower before dressing in the shirt he let me borrow and the underwear. They did fit me. I checked the size on the back seeing that they were my size. Dang. I went back into the bedroom seeing him waiting. He spotted me. "Crawl into bed. I'll sleep on the floor." He said.
Did Vinny honestly love the apartment cold? I was still freezing when Chris came into the bedroom. "Cold again angel?" He asked. I nodded. He had me scoot over a bit as he got in under the sheets before turning the light off. He slid down onto the mattress before pulling me close to his side.
"Better?" He asked. I nodded against his shoulder. He reached down grabbing my legs near my knees pulling them over one of his legs. I yawned again before he kissed my forehead once more as I fell asleep. During the night he kept switching positions making sure not to crush me at the same time.
