A Magic Time

Chapter:4

Some time during the night Christian got under the covers and had me laying half on top of him. I tried to slip away getting pulled closer to his side. He rolled onto his side laying one of his legs over mine. I curled back up to his chest. He smelled really good. An alarm went off next to the bed.

Christian moved one arm away from me rolling to turn the alarm off. He rolled back over and kissed my forehead. "Ready to go hiking today?" He asked. I nodded. He kissed my forehead again. Then got up. He had shorts on and no shirt. He got into his bag grabbing some jeans and a tank.

"I'll let you get dressed in the bathroom if you want." He said. I nodded before easing out of the bed and getting my clothes for today I went into the bathroom, used it and got dressed. I exited the bathroom and pulled my hair back before deodorant. Christian came into the room. I zipped my bag up and set it up on the bed. "Done getting ready?" He asked as I tied my hiking shoes. "Yeah." I answered.

"May I take your bag?" He asked. I let him take it. But decided to follow him. Out by his truck, he put our bags in the bed before he opened the drivers door and sat me in the seat. He rested his head against mine. "I'm going to warn you right now to keep you safe angel. Do not go alone with any of my buddies. Your friends the same way. I don't want any of you to get hurt while we're there." He said.

I nodded. He kissed my forehead. "Stay close to me if you need to. I won't mind if you want to stay right beside me the entire time." He said. It was so tempting to kiss him. "Do I look handsome angel?" He asked. I grabbed his shirt pulling him to me. My lips automatically met his. He pulled me out of the cab trapping me against the side. He kissed me deeply for several seconds before pulling back.

"Is that what you wanted?" He asked. I felt my cheeks warm up. He leaned in. "You look adorable when you blush angel." He said. I hid my face as my face was heated. He kissed my cheek before setting me down on my feet. "Think you can sit on my lap like you did yesterday?" He asked. "Depends on the distance." I said. "I'll let one of the guys sit behind you and have him sit behind me." He said. I nodded.

"I didn't like what he was saying about you all weekend. I know that's not you. If you want to talk about anything that has happened I'm here to listen to you Jess." Christian said. I nodded. He kissed my forehead. The girls came out with their bags. "Could we ride with you Christian?" Hailee asked. "If you want to." Christian answered. They threw their bags into the bed of Christian's truck.

He sent a text to his buddies before having us get in. "Who's up for breakfast?" He asked once we all were in. He saw a place and pulled in. "Hope you love home cooking." Christian said. He parked before keeping the doors locked. "I'm going to flat out tell you girls, do not go alone with any of my buddies. I trust the guys with Magic Men more than them. If they ask if you would like to go with them somewhere without the rest of the group, say no." He said.

Hailee, Lani, Dani and Tess nodded. "I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I don't want anything to happen to you girls before we go back on tour." He said. He unlocked the doors letting us out. We were directed to a six person table. Christian sat on one side of me, with Hailee on the other. "I'm buying so get what you would like." Christian said.

I took one look at him. "Don't worry angel. I had a small job that paid nicely before the music festival." He said. I ordered eggs and steak with hash browns and toast. After ordering Christian gave me an odd look. "If I don't eat it all, I'll let you eat it." I said. That obviously made him happy. Our food came out shortly.

As we ate the girls and I chatted about a new act Madison was putting together. "I don't know, I really liked the goddess one we did when I first joined the group." I said. "Same." Hailee said. "I know Alice said we were going to go over which acts we were going to do next year." Tess said. When I couldn't eat another bite, I shoved my plate closer to Chris. His plate was clean and I could tell he was eyeing my plate.

As soon as it was right beside him, he dug into it. When he was done, the girls and I were ready to go. He paid for the food before leading us out holding the door open for us. He opened the doors to his truck for us I got in and buckled up. His buddies pulled into the parking lot. "Did you guys just get here?" One asked. "Nah. We've been here for about an hour." Christian told him. He nodded. One did not look very excited.

Christian got in and started his truck. "They're going to grab something quick and follow us to Ann Arbor." He said. After nearly an hour of driving, we came to a town. After going through Ann Arbor when Christian pointed it out, he drove for another thirty minutes until pulling off and going down this road.

He pulled the truck to a stop at a place with a small shack sitting there. "You still wanted to go hiking didn't you?" He asked. "Yeah." I answered. "Welcome to where I hike." He said.
