Chapter 22

I woke up with a crink in my neck and man did it hurt when I turn my head. I was going to get up but my body hurt to much. Why did Luke's floor have to be hard wood. Is that food I smell.

I got up and ran. That probably was a bad idea since I ran into the door. "Why do I keep getting hurt" I muttered. I opened the door fast and ran out.

When I got to the stairs I hopped down the steps. when I got down I ran into the kitchen to find that there was no food and Austun and Jace laughing at me. "I thought there was food" I said glaring at them. "You owe me 20 bucks" Jace said holding his hand out to Austin. "You guys were betting" I asked. "Yeah. We had to see how long it took for you to come when you smell food." Austin said. "I guessed 16 seconds and he guessed 10" Jace said. "How long did I take" I said sitting next to them. "20 seconds" Austin responded. "I would've been here faster if I didn't run into the door" I muttered. "So where's Luke and Melanie" I asked. "Out having a breakfast date" Austin said. I nodded going to the fridge.

I grabbed some froot loops and milk. You're problem wondering why they have cereal in their fridge. Well, it's because Amber keeps putting it in there so everyone just leaves it there.

"So what we gonna do today boys" I asked while eating. "We should go paint balling" Austin said. "Yeah, haven't been there in a while" I said finishing up my cereal. "I would go but I have to babysit my brother" Jace said. "How is he" I asked. Jace had a baby brother who was only like 9 months I think and he was the adorablest baby ever. "He's doing fine" he answered. I nodded putting my bowl in the sink.

"I just remembered something." I said. "What" Luke asked. "The boys, Victoria and I are haveing a prank war. And, I pick you, Austin, Jace, Melanie, and Max." I answered. "Ok cool, when does the prank war start" Austin asked. "The first day of December and it ends on New Years" I replied. "Ok so that's in what, 2 weeks" Jace said. "Yup" I answerd.

It was now 1:00 and it was just me and Austin. "hey Austin" I asked. "Yeah" he said. "Can you make me a sandwich" I asked. "No" "why not" "because I don't want to"

"Austin, make me a sandwhich, please" I said using my power to compell him. He got up and went to the kitchen. "What a loser" I muttered.

He soon came back with a delicious, mouth watering sandwhich. "Here's you're sandwhich" he said handing it to me. "Why thank you Austin" I said smiling. "Uggh, I hate when you do that" he complained. "Oh quite being a baby" I said eating my sandwhich. "Can I at least have a bite" he asked. "No" I said. "But w-" "no" I cu him off. "Fine then be that way" he said crossing his arms and pouting.

"I'm going home now" I said getting up. "Alright" he said. I exited his room with my bag. as I reached the stairs I heard him yell, "Dont fall down the stairs again" and laughed. "I hate you" I said walking down the stairs.

I only went to the second floor so I could tell max the news. "Max! where are you" I shouted. "In my office" he shouted back. "I walked all the way to your room for nothing" I muttered walking all the way down stairs. His room was on the second floor and his office was on the first floor.

"Max guess what" I said hoping into a spinning chair. "What" he said while reading over some papers. "You're going to be joining my team in a prank war" I said spinning. "Dont you think I'm a little to old for prank wars" he said. "No aren't you like 34 or something" I said. "No, I'm 38" he said. I stopped spinning and widened my eyes. "What! you're so old but you look so young. But, anyways, I need an old person because they like to think through things right? And plus, you're the alpha of the strongest pack so that makes our team much more stronger and better than the other team" I said.
