Chapter 35

-Alice-

It all happened so quick.

One second I'm here, the next I'm gone.

-Austin-

"No! Alice!" I screamed out, tears coming to my eyes.

I was about to get closer to the train but was held back by Luke. I sank to my knees letting the tears spill out.

"Why!" I screamed slamming my hands onto the ground over and over again.

-Luke-

Why did the train have to come? Why couldn't it have been me? She shouldn't have been hit.

I held in my tears. Although I did want curl up in a ball and cry all day. I have to wait until I'm alone. I have to be the brave one.

"How long is this fucking train!" Austin screamed out in anger.

"Fucking hurry up you damn train!" He yelled banging his fist on the ground.

I was gonna tell him to calm down before he said, "Im sorry train, please hurry up. I'm sorry for yelling at you" Austin said towards the train.

He's gone mad. The train finally passed by after hours.

"Alice!" Austin cried out once he saw Alice. Tears were about to fall but I wiped them away.

Austin and I ran to Alice.

The train had hit her and pushed her to the other side of the train tracks. "Alice please wake up" Austin sobbed.

He hit Alice's cheeks lightly but her eyes weren't opening.

I examined her body and saw that her leg was in an unusual angle and was bruising up, her cheek had a large gash that was seeping out blood, there was a small cut above her eyebrow. There was a cut on her bottom lip also bleeding alot an her nose looked all bruised and was bleeding.

Other than that I couldn't find anything else. None if it was healing like it should. "Call Jeff now" I rushed out throwing my phone at Austin.

I tried healing Alice but it was working. Her cuts were to big. "He's coming" Austin said still crying. He handed me my phone and sobbed quietly holding Alice's hand.

I heard a car coming out way. I looked up and saw Jeff's car. "I came here as fast as I could. Oh my, we need to get her to the house." Jeff said picking up

Alice's limp body.

We followed him into his car and rushed to his house.

Jeff is a close friend of ours. He's also a werewolf and a doctor.

We finally made it. I took Alice out while Jeff and Austin went ahead. I ran with Alice into the house and into the basement. Jeff has a secret door that leads to a secret hospital like room in te basement

We went in the secret room and I layed Alice on the bed. I watched Jeff hook Alice up to the different machines.

Her heart beat was slow. It would slow down then fasten up.

I sat with Austin on the two chairs. A tear slid down my cheek jus looking at Alice.

I grabbed my phone and texted the boys and Jace. They all said they'd be here as fast as they can except Jace, he hadn't texted back.

It's all my fault that Alice is basically on the verge of death.

-Liam-

As soon as Luke had texted us we all rushed into the car. I was going to be driving.

We were at a red light so I looked back at the boys and Victoria. Niall and Louis were both crying on eachothers shoulders while Zayn and Harry tried comforting Victoria.

Victoria was the worse at of all of us. She was sobbing very loud.

As soon as the red light changed to green I pressed on the gas and sped through traffic. We were in the neighborhood Luke sent us. It was vey difficult to find the house but finally I found it.

I parked and got out of the car. Louis and Niall came out still crying. Zayn held Victoria while Harry got out. I grabbed Victoria out of Zayns hands while he got out.

-Luke-

I tapped my foot while biting my nails waiting.

Austin and I got kicked out of the room so Jeff could work on her. I hope she's okay.

I heard the doorbell so I got up and answered it. It was the boys and Victoria. Their eyes all red with tear stained cheeks. Victoria reached out to me so I took her in my arms.

I led them inside and let them sit on the couches Austin and I are sitting on. "W-what h-happened to A-Alice?" Victoria sobbed.

"She was hit by a train" I whispered.

- 2 hours later -

Everyone was crying except me. It's been two hours already. Jeff hasn't told us anything yet. "Boys, we have a problem" Jeff said coming into the room.

"What is it" I asked.

"Her heartbeat is getting to slow, it's going to stop completely soon" Jeff said above a whisper.

"No! I won't let her die!" Austin screamed at Jeff. He stood up and went punched a hole threw the wall. My mouth fell open even more.

"Jace calm down, she's not gone yet" I said.

"We have to get her to the nearest hospital" Jeff said.

"But that's going to expose she's a werewolf." I said. "That's true but there's a friend of mine there and she can help us" he said.

I nodded. We got Alice and laid her in the back seat.

"Can I go with you" Victoria asked me quietly. I nodded. I put her in the seat next to Alice's head.

Jeff sent us the hospitals adress and his friends name. He wasn't coming with us because he had some stuff to do.

The onedirection boys were following us there. We finally made it to the hospital. I carried Alice's body while Austin carried Victoria. The boys followed us into the hospital.

"We need help" I said to the receptionist. "Please wait" she said. "Listen our little sister is dying and we need help from a doctor name Claire" I said.

"You need me for what" a voice said from behind us. I turned around and saw a young girl. "Jeff said you could help us" I rushed out.

She nodded and led us all to a private room. She laid Alice on the bed and began hooking her up to the machines.

On ye heart monitor Alice's heart beat was slowing down every second.

"I'm gonna have to kick you guys out of the room"

Really, again.

We all got out of the room and sat in the hallway chairs. There was only five so I put Victoria on my lap. Then Niall and Austin shared a seat since they both fit in one. Louis sat I the third chair and Harry in the fourth chair. And then Zayn and Liam.

Hours have gone by and Claire still hasn't came out of the room.

I just want Alice to be better.
