One direction adopted a hybrid

Chapter 34

-Alice-

I woke up to an alarm going off. I looked over and saw Lia turning off the alarm. I have school today.

I get out of bed and looked through my drawers. I picked out maroon long sleeve crop top with a black skater skirt. I undressed and got into my clean clothes. I don't care that Lias in here I mean we're both girls.

There was a full body mirror hanging on the door so I looked at my outfit and nodded in approval.

I used lias curling iron since she let me use it and curled my hair. it took about thirty minutes to do all of it. I then put in a maroon now in my hair.

By the time I was done it was already 7:36. I have to hurry up if I want to make it to first period on time.

I put some lotion on quick and put my socks and shoes on after. I'm definatly not gonna have time to eat breakfast.

I grabbed my school bag, phone and wallet. I put my phone in my wallet after turning it off and placed my wallet in my backpack. I made sure to grab my class schedule before leaving the room with Lia.

Classes don't start until 8 so that's good. we got on the sophmore (10th grade) floor and she led me to my first period class, which was social studies.

Lia left to her first class when I walked into the room. I looked at the clock at the back of the room and saw that class started in ten minutes.

There was only like five students here plus the teacher. I had a note that Lia made me get from the office to show the teachers that I'm new.

I walked over to the teacher and gave her the note. her name was Mrs. Hellen. she told me where my seat was and pointed to the seat next to a boy I'm the back corner of the class.

The boy had curly short brown hair with brown eyes. I once saw an old picture of Liam and this gut reminds me him.

I says in my seat and placed my backpack on the floor under my desk. the boy looked up at me and looked back down to a book he was reading.

I would introduce myself to him but I don't want to interrupt him. The bell rang and many students piled into the classroom and took their seats.

On my left side a girl with pink hair sat next to me. "hi I'm Alice I'm new here" I said holding my hand out for her to shake. When she looked up at me I saw her eyes turn into slits like cat eyes. to be honest she kinda scared me.

She didnt bother shaking my hand but just stared at me. I put my hand down and looked away. I could feel her eyes on me still which made me nervous.

Why is she still staring at me and when is the teacher gonna start teaching. "Can you stop staring at me" I asked politely. she didnt say anything and continued to stare at me. she finally looked away and stared at someone else.

I looked around the class and saw everybody was talking to one another.

I turned to the boy on my right and saw him put his book away. "Hi my names Alice, I'm new here" I said and offered my hand out to shake.

He didnt say anything but he shook my hand. "Are you gonna tell me your name" I asked. "My names sam" he said.

"Well nice to meet you sam" I said with a polite smile. He gave me a smile back.

"Is the teacher gonna teach yet" I asked. "This is basically a free period. She literally doesn't care what we do" he explained.

"I love this class already" I said.

"So what's it like being a hybrid" sam asked. "How'd you know I'm a hybrid" I asked. "I could smell your scent" he said. "Oh yeah. Being a hybrid is alright I guess. What are you?"
