Regular POV:

Everyone is sitting around joking and laughing.

My POV:

Then my phone signals I have a text message. When I looked at my phone. My whole life was turned upside down. It was from Desiree. That's not the bad part though the text was.

Desiree: Hey bitch. I know what your hiding. I know all about your past. Think it's bad enough having me hurt you well think again. Mess up once your secret will be reveled. You obviously had something to hide and now I know what.

I look away as I slid my phone into my back pocket. Tears threatened to over flow but I ignored them.

She knew. Would everyone treat me different. Not even my friends knew.

••flashback••

It was a typical day for a normal girls in the 3rd grade,but for me it was different. Everyday I went home knowing what lies ahead. He would sail me off to strange guys just so he could get his precious drugs. Ever since I was 5 he did this. I'm 9 now. I do t wanna go home but I have nowhere else. Every day almost 24/7 this happened. Somedays I wished myself dead. Hoping he would see what he did but he never did show remorse even as he did what he did....

••flashback over••

I slowly get up and leave without a word. By now the tears were overflowing and I was crying hard before I reached the door but I kept on. I understood what Desiree meant by mess up. She meant if I date Mikey. I love him but I can't have other people taking advantage of me anymore. That's what will happen or more of that.

Mikey's pov:

I see Liz get up. She's on the verge of tears. Everyone watches as she leaves without a word. I follow her to the park where I watch her from a distance.

My POV:

I cut and open my pill bottle as I sit under a tree in the park. I take the pills until they were empty but I don't know what happened next because I blacked out.

Mikey's POV:

Suddenly I see her collapse. I run to her and try to get a response but I don't get one so I call 911. I scream her name as tears roll down my face. I say again and again "Liz please come back I love you"

***minutes later***

The ambulance takes her to the hospital. I go back and break the news. We later go visit. All our friends are there.
