Chapter 6

After school;

Ellie's Pov.
I'm finally home from school and e told me to meet him at his house when I got home and he'd explain everything. I just have to convince my mom and dad. They're really strict when it comes to stuff like going to guys houses even though I never go anywhere. They usually give in, but they were really mad when I came home the other night past curfew so I know it'll take a lot to convince them.

Mom and Dad: *sitting at the kitchen table*

Ellie: *sits in one of the empty chairs*

Dad: hey El, how was school?

Ellie: it was good, how was your guys day?

Mom and Dad: oh it was good...

Ellie: uhm.. I actually have to ask you a question.

Mom: what is it?

Ellie: can I borrow the car?

Mom: why?

Ellie: uhmm Ethan invited me over to hangout today, so I was just wondering if I could go?

Dad: you were already past curfew once this week Ellie.

Ellie: I know and I'm sorry but I promise I'll come home earlier this time.

Mom: fine, but you know you have school tomorrow so you don't need to stay out to late, okay?

Ellie: okay, thank you guys. *gets in car and drives to Ethan's house*

Ellie's Pov.
I just got to Ethan's house and I am so terrified. I don't know why, I just keep thinking about what he's gonna say. I park and start walking up to the porch. When I get there I see the front door is wide open and there is music blasting, but e is nowhere to be seen. I didn't know if I should wait on him or just walk in, but I decide to go on in and maybe I'd find him.

I walk into the living room and I don't see Ethan so I keep walking upstairs until I find his room. When I open the door I see a shirtless Ethan with nothing on but some gray sweatpants and a snapback. He's doing something, but as soon as I come in he sees me and puts whatever it is behind his back.

Ethan: OH SHIT EL. Sorry I didn't know you were here.

Ellie: uhm it's fine, I just saw the front door was open so I thought I'd try to find you.

Ethan: oh yea I was just uh- listening to music outside.

Ellie: oh okay... so uhm what's uh- behind your back?

Ethan: oh nothing, I was jus-

Ellie: Ethan you said you'd tell me the truth if I came over... well I'm here, so tell me!

Ethan: *sighs* fine *holds out his hand* I was rolling a blunt.

Ellie: so I was right about what was in the bag the other night?

Ethan: yea.. look I was gonna tell you, but I didn't want to get you involved.

Ellie: Ethan, what are you doing with drugs anyway?

Ethan: it.. it's just weed.

Ellie: that wasn't the only thing that was in the bag, and you know it.

Ethan: okay, there might have been some coke too. But I promise that wasn't for me.

Ellie: who was it for then?

Ethan: a friend...

Ellie: but the weed was yours?

Ethan: yea. Well some of it was..

Ellie: some of it?

Ethan: it's a long story Ellie can we just forget about it?

Ellie: no. Please just tell me!

Ethan: fine, let's talk about it outside. *walks out of his room and walks downstairs*

Ellie: *follows him*

Ethan: *walks outside and cuts off the music*

Ellie: *follows him outside*

Ethan: *sits in a chair and points to the one beside him* uhm you can sit right there if you want..

Ellie: okay *sits down* so can you tell me now?

Ethan: yea. What do you wanna know first?

Ellie: uhm well.. who is the cocaine and the rest of the weed for?

Ethan: my friend.

Ellie: who's your friend?

Ethan: okay well to be honest I kinda sell it..

Ellie: you mean like a DRUG DEALER?!

Ethan: *laughs a lil* yea I guess

Ellie: why? Why would you do that?

Ethan: look it's not a big deal.

Ellie: well how do you even know where to get drugs?

Ethan: let's just say, I know some people who make it, and then they give to me, and I sell it.

Ellie: what people? Do I know them?

Ethan: hmm maybe. They're people from school..

Ellie: *gasp* who?!

Ethan: okay that's enough questions for now El.

Ellie: but you said you'd tell me everything.

Ethan: I will, just not right now.

Ellie:,then when?

Ethan: come over again tomorrow and I'll tell you more. Okay?

Ellie: hm okay...

The next day;

Ellie's Pov.
I woke up this morning so eager to get through the day. I just wanted to go back to Ethan's house so I could talk to him more. All of this is so crazy. I've never even met anyone like him. I just don't understand why he does this. From what I know it seems like he has a great life. Both of his parents have really good jobs, he has a really nice house, and he has a twin brother and an older sister. I've never seen him with any of his family though. Which is weird bc his brother is in the same grade as us. His name is Grayson, and from what I know he's nothing like Ethan. He's very shy and awkward. He also only has like three friends, even though Ethan has a whole group of his "bad boy" friends. I don't know, maybe I'll find out more when I talk to him today...
