Ellie: *starts crying, and hands the note back to Grayson*
Grayson: I'm sorry El.
Ellie: *wipes her tears* No it's fine. Uhm thank you for letting me read it.
Grayson: Yea, no problem.. and you know it wasn't your fault right?
Ellie: I hung up on him. He told me he loved me and I hung up on him..
Grayson: He was a troubled kid Ellie, nothing you could've done would have helped.
Ellie: Why the fuck does everyone keep saying that. He wasn't troubled, he was in love and I was scared.
Grayson: You can't take back what happened. You can blame yourself forever El, it won't change things. Me and you both know that.
Worker: *walks over to the table* Mr. Dolan your time to visit is over. I'm sorry, but we have time limits for all of the visitors. It's just a way to help our patients, get through these hard times.
Ellie: *is still crying*
Grayson: *looks at her* Uhm it's fine. Good seeing you El *hugs her* things will get better..
Ellie: *hugs him back* yea, hopefully.
After that Grayson leaves, and I go on with the rest of my day. Mom and Dad eventually visit, and ask me about Grayson.
I knew I couldn't tell them about the note or anything, so I just told them that he came to see how I was doing. Which I guess was kind of true.
