so i just finished watching s7 and,,

holy fuck

that was insane,,,,,

but i suppose the most important thing to discuss is the whole shadam situation

i mean.........

even after watching i can't come up with any sort of reason as to why people would be mad and claim the staff was queerbaiting

..i understand that the staff said shiro and adam were fiancé's and were planning to get married until shiro left..... but thats it...

we never got any indication that shiro and adam would meet up or end up getting married by the end of the season, or ever. so........ why????

why are people saying they were queerbaiting, why are people so angry over this..... yes, adam died, and im sad about that but.. im not angry....... im not gonna just stop watching after this, i love the show for more than just gay ships... so allow me to ask:

could somebody please explain this to me!! i don't see any queerbaiting and shit..... i just see a very unfortunate circumstance that prevents two characters from being in a relationship... and that sucks.. but.....

also people are mad because they killed off an lgbt character,, that's fucking bullshit. lgbt characters shouldn't be treated as separate beings, they're normal fucking characters!! they just happen to be lgbt! i understand that having lgbt representation in the media, especially a show aimed at younger audiences, is great!! i completely get that!! but what the fuck!! shiro is ALSO lgbt, bet y'all forgot about him. he was also killed off, and technically he's still dead! his consciousness is in a clone of himself. but y'all don't seem to be batting an eye at that shit. and don't give me the argument that "oh, the staff didn't PLAN for him to be lgbt, it just happened!!" because that's bullshit and you fucking know it.

honestly.. from my perspective it just seems kind of dumb and petty to be so fucking angry about something like this..

i think my final thought is:
you people started watching the show for a reason. because you liked it and the characters and the story and you wanted to see both the lovely characters and story develop. and if y'all abandon the show that you supposedly were a fan of because of some fucking ship not becoming canon like you wanted it to? i think this post sums up pretty well (and humorously too uwu):
