"You ok?"

Your hand closed around the Honey Nut Cheerios box and you huffed a strand of hair out of your eyes.

"I'm fine," you said, rocking back onto your heels and walking over to the counter where Jihyo sat eating. "I don't need another chekcup."

"You should at least stay in the hospital a bit longer," she urged. "One day of skipped class ain't gonna kill ya."

"Obviously."

"Or you can stay at home. Sana doesn't even have class today, she can take care of you."

An even better reason to go, you thought, but just smiled. "It's fine, really. I have to go to the library anyways."

"On the FIRST day of class?"

"I've got an assignment due Friday."

Jihyo rolled her eyes. "So you won't be joining us for lunch?"

"Us?"

"Didn't you get the text? Yugyeom wants to meet Jimin at the Club Diner on Main Square."

Jimin. His name sent a strange wave through you, though you didn't know why. You hadn't talked to the guys since two days ago before the accident but now they wanted to meet....

"Well I never got a text," you said, putting the cereal back. "Besides, Yugyeom probably wants YOU to meet Jimin."

Jihyo turned beet red.
"No, don't say that..."

"I'll be working through lunch. Don't worry about me."

Truthfully, you wanted to meet Jimin, thank him, maybe even have a proper conversation but the chances seemed slim. Yugyeom wasn't your buddy, he wouldn't go out of his way to let you meet him, especially when he worshipped Jihyo so much. So this was it~you would have to make do with the usual social mumbo jumbo.

"I'm off then," Jihyo said, grabbing her keys. "See you tonight!"

You took your time going to school. Your class didn't start till 11 and you weren't the type to get there half an hour early, although people often thought that. When you finally reached class at 10:52, it was only half full.

You took your seat near the front, focusing on the blank screen of your computer as the room began to fill.

"Do you wanna just sit here? Everywhere else is full."

Your ears perked at the sound of male voices but you just slumped forward in your chair, playing the faceless person Ike usual.

"Sure, let's just sit here."

"I don't see Momo. Maybe she's already in the back."

The smell of cigarette smoke and cologne met your nostrils as the two guys sat down. You spotted a thick, black trench coat directly beside you and when he turned to you to reach for his bag, you averted your eyes quickly.

"Aish, I forgot my pencil. Got any?" the deep voice of the black coat guy asked his friend.

"Nope. I just brought my laptop. Sorry bro."

*sighing*

"Yo, ask her."

"Who?"

"The girl beside you."

There was more mumbling and you bit your lip, feeling that awkward sensation of unintentional eavesdropping.

"Hey, do you mind lending me a pencil?" a voice suddenly asked.

That was black coat.

You glanced at your notebook. There were two pencils there, meaning you really had no choice.
